terribly noisy and unuseable

I haven’t been able to test the mic properly yet as it keeps falling off the sax because the clip and the transmitter don’t fit together very well - maybe it would benefit from a touch of superglue. The receiver made a noise when plugged into the amp, but you can’t hear it when a backing track is playing, and you’re playing over it. For the money I think it’s probably good, but I’ve yet to come to grips with it and make a final decision on whether to keep it.

An excellent price and piece of equipment. It makes a real difference when playing the sax.

What an incredible piece of equipment at a bargain-basement price! It worked right out of the box – switch on the transmitter and receiver, plug the receiver into your mixer and attach the transmitter to your instrument and you’re up and running! The sound quality is amazing. Quite honestly, I cannot tell the difference between the sound coming from this microphone and my Shure stage mics. Now, I would not recommend this mic for vocals, but I’ve used it on my banjo, violin and guitar with excellent results. I did a lot of searching before I discovered this system. Nothing else came close in price, and I don’t see any apparent problems in quality. The main challenge is how to attach it to your instrument. It is advertised as a saxophone mix, and as you can see in the Amazon product images, that should work just fine. However, you will probably have to be inventive to find ways to attach it to various stringed instruments. At this price point, though, you can’t go wrong and you can always jury-rig something to attach it to your instrument, if need be. If you’re wondering, don’t hesitate to buy this. You won’t be disappointed!

Basura, me llego y duraba 5 minutos encendido y el manual, no es nada claro y no te dice especificaciones de qué energía puede recibir. Se oye bien pero llego roto, apenas lo voy a cambiar espero que funcione

Outstanding value, itworks fie. It works exactly as it shold, id use it for home and school... not nearly sturdy enough fo pro gigs on the rod, the clamp is far too weak (ideas, anyone.?)

Lo compré con la intención de probarlo, pero funciona excelente, no me he atrevido a usarlo de manera profesional en un audio musical o para grabación en vivo. Pero funciona muy bien para conferencias o pequeñas presentación de saxofonista solista. 👍🏻👏🏻🎷

I wanted a microphone I could use for home recording and performance of clarinet and soprano saxophone. For starters, the removable clip kept falling off the microphone. Next, the clip didn’t fit the clarinet bell. I managed to get it on somehow and played through a Rockville goparty x10 speaker column. The fidelity wasn’t tremendous but really not bad for what I paid. The problem was that the mike was picking up a lot of key and pad noise to the point where it detracted from the recording. I found a competitive microphone which has a more usable clip, better sound and no key/pad noise. So this is going back.
