I’ll start this off by saying that this is definitely not the first screen I’ve replaced. I have used cheaper options and more expensive options.This screen kit comes with everything you need to do a proper screen replacement. It includes all tools and even a handy printed magnetic mat to place the screws on while removing them, this way you don’t mix them up. The penta lobe screwdriver and Phillips fit the screws very precisely and were magnetic to help you not lose any screws. The included spudgers are very agile and help with removing the “LEGO” connectors for the home button and screen. Everything is very well packaged in a sturdy hard cardboard box.You will need to transfer all to the parts in the top of the screen (microphones light sensor and the camera) which is easy but the microphone boot was a little snug and required a few attempts to get aligned. You will need to transfer your screens frame over to the new one making sure to remove the film and not put pressure on the screen while doing so. Here it was a snug fit also. A little spreading of the bar with a spudger did the trick.Sreeen resolution is on par with the Apple OEM. Color temp is slightly off from what it should be. It is slightly more blue than OEM. It is enough to notice if you’re going in between another Apple product and your iPhone. Touch response is either the same as the OEM or close enough to be indistinguishable. The fit is decent but they did make it ~1mm shorter than it needs to be. This can be annoying but my case covers it. One of the pentalobe screw hole was a little loose.Why does this come in at 2 stars you may ask? The many spam emails the company send you post sale. I’m up to 3 in a little over a week. If I need to contact a seller I know how to do so, I do not need to be repeatedly asked if everything is good with the item. I WILL NOT give stellar reviews to review beggars.

If you are willing to take apart your iPhone and have some steady hands this is a great replacement for a broken screen. Worked perfectly on my 5S. However, after a year the touch screen stopped working on the very left side. Still, I can't complain too much as I got another year out of this old phone.

I've done a few of these screen replacements since the iPhone 3GS days and not only was this a complete LCD kit to replace the broken screen for my iPhone SE - included pentalobe/phillips screwdrivers, nice set of very fine tweezers, etc - but the best accessory I have every gotten in one of these iPhone LCD replacement kits; a 100% scale picture magnet screw mat that showed all the phone parts that needed to be disassembled and allowed you to stick the tiny little screws directly to the exact place they came off the phone. That part alone took so much of the stress off around losing the tiny screws, on which i normally use scotch tape.I can't speak to the long term quality of the part but it looks great right now.One thing to be very, very careful with is when pulling off the old screen. Mine was stuck fast and I couldn't pull it up from the middle. I ended up putting the suction cup on one side and was able to work it free but didn't stop quickly enough to keep the home button cable from tearing.

Edit: I called amazon and they refunded me for the screen and didn’t make me return it because it was already installed. I’m bumping up the review to 4 stars because the only thing I lost at the end of the day was my time fumbling around with microscopic screws and hardware during the repalcement. These aftermarket purchases are always a gamble. Moral of the story is - get a screen protector.Screen is lagging and unresponsive at times. The installation process was annoying enough, and now it’s pretty frustrating that the Screen doesn’t even work correctly. I tried a hard reset and multiple other things to see if it was a software error... no dice. Perhaps mine was just one of the bad eggs, but there’s no way I’m replacing the screen again especially not with this YPLANG aftermarket garbage.

First off - i have installed many cheap, Chinese phone screens in the past. You have to automatically accept the fact that your quality of both picture clarity & brightness diminish compared to the official Apple screens. The glass is typically fragile as well, and breaks easier than the OEM product. After going in a limb I tried this product. I am glad to say, it’s so far one of the best Chinese screens to date. Picture was only minimally less quality than OEM. Strength, well, that’s yet to be determined since it hasn’t broke yet. Bottom line, this product is not impossible to install yourself (although it’s not as easy as full replacement screens) and a decent quality. Would buy again (hopefully not to soon!)

Well the first received screen was a dud. Had arcing brown discoloration near the top. Replacement arrived right away and this one is just as expected for the cost. Not up to original OEM standards with some back lighting bleed at the top and the bottom but considering I could replace it myself for about 20 bucks and 30 mins of my time it is worth the purchase. I am sure it won't be the last time I replace this screen since the phone belongs to a teenager. Time will tell how well it holds up. I will update the review as necessary.

This kit was very complete with all the tools needed for an iPhone screen swap while retaining the home button fingerprint functionality. The directions won’t win any awards for grammar but they are understandable and very specific as to the disassembly and reassembly steps.I gave the kit low marks for ease of installation but that’s 100% due to the phones design. The screws used in the construction are almost microscopic. Luckily the kit comes with a magnetic mat with a picture of the inside of the phone laminated on it. As you disassemble you just drop the screws on the corresponding colored dot on the mat. The directions also make clear the sizes of the screws in case you get them mixed up.I would recommend this kit to those that are very detail oriented and can follow directions.
