Generally okay, great for support on back and knees
Great yoga mat for a beginner. Had some issues with the order initially as the order was put through twice somehow from their side. Amazon quickly rectified the problem and I received the refund for the second mat promptly. I do find though that there are now some marks on the mat from where I've applied pressure during yoga. On the plus side, for anyone with sensitive back, knees and elbows, this mat provides that support. I do agree with some of comments about how the thickness of the mat may not be suitable for intermediate level yoga practises as in some occasions you may find you will lose balance in certain poses. Which is why this mat has lost a star from me. As this was my first yoga mat I didn't fuss too much about the quality.

Better for yoga/pilates than circuits or high energy exercise
Hmmmm.... I don't know how I feel about this mat.I bought the 10mm one and it is very, very thick and comfortable, that's certain.I use it for home circuit sessions with exercises ranging from burpees to press ups, sit ups, star jumps, jumping jacks, lunges etc - so quite vigourous. I get that it's intended for yoga/pilates but I had hoped it would be a bit more robust, especially as it was among the "quality" end of the market. For what I use it for it does slide and move around. I have to roll it up the other way (so the underneath is on the outside) to prevent it curling upwards when I lay it out to use it. I reckon I'd be happier if it was about 6cm wider (but I was well aware of the measurements -to be fair). And I've only had it around 10 days and already it's showing some signs of wear (I do a daily 100 burpees challenge as well as my circuits).Am I happy with it, yes. Is it fit for purpose, yes. Why am I giving it only 4 stars? Well because the old one I had lasted about 10 years and my wife's old one lasted about the same time and those took the same sort of hammering. And were cheaper, albeit a decade ago. So I think this is ok, I guess...

Very soft and thick, but get's quite slippery when you're sweating
Item delivered fast and securely. It comes in an easy-to-clean bag and the actual item was covered in plastic. It has some rubbery smell at first, but fades afterwards. I love the thickness and softness because i dont hurt my back when doing floor exercises. You might want to put some weights on either side before you use it though, because the edge rolls up. Also, it gets kinda slippery if you're sweating, but overall, still a good mat for me!

Yoga Mat
This is a very thick mat which I use for my yoga routine. It supports your wrists and ankles when you are in those difficult positions. The thickness is unlike others I've seen and if you suffer with aching joints etc then this is for you.The only thing is how chunky it is when it's rolled up. It's not like you see in movies with the small tube-like mat that can slip through your bag straps. No. It has a strap all of it's own. The diameter is head-sized. That is the only thing that let's this mat down. I would feel embarrassed carting around this chunky mat when other have a tiny one that's easy to roll up, unroll and carry.

Thick
I enjoy this mat as it is thick, so whether you're on a hard floor, or outside it will save your knees.Pros: - Thick - ComfortableCons: - Not very rugid - Quite heavyConclusionFor having in the house, its great, but I wouldn't want to carry it anywhere, nor would it survive much wear and tear.

Good but slightly flawed
A good mat for the price but did have trouble with the edges refusing to lay flat and curling up despite heavy weights being used to make it flat. Always wants to curl back.
