Haneye Oval Proofing Basket with Liner, 8.2" Bread Banneton Basket, Proving Basket for Bread Sourdough

As expected, and they work fine, essentially the same as pricier options, however, they were not sized all the same.Specifically, they are all the same bottom dimensions and W x L, but some are higher than others. This really doesn't affect their use much, so still 4 stars.

This makes a small one-pound oval loaf - very nice basket and liner. The reason I love this size is because I am baking for only two people. If I leave my bulk sourdough in the fridge I can bake several loaves in a week and have fresh bread every day. Also, and this was a big deal for me, I bake in the small oval Romertopf clay baker  Romertopf by Reston Lloyd Classic Series Glazed Natural Clay Cooker, Small  and this is the PERFECT size proofing banneton!]I love it. Well made, tidy, nice, high sides.

I love the basket and only negative was that it was slightly smaller than I had anticipated but so far has worked very well and held many sourdough loafs.

This is a little small, but I actually really like that. It's perfect size for the slightly smaller loaves (I used this for one of a 2 loaf batch that started with 700 grams of flour). Because it's small you get a lovely rise!

These proofing baskets are high quality at a very reasonable price. I expect them to give me years of service. It’s rare experience to buy anything these days that shows such pride of workmanship

It is in fact 8.2" as the description clearly states and yet upon opening the box I was surprised at how tiny it is. Seems decently made tho a couple rough spots. The liner held up perfect in the washer and dryer.

Great for proving medium sized loafs. I've used it a couple of times already and it works great for a 300gr flour base. Maybe for a larger loaf you should consider a bigger one :)
