Not Ready for the Market
The Sapido BRE71n is not ready for the market. The instructions are very poor and in an unintelligible English, the interface is not clear, every change requires a restart, the WiFi IPS mode (WISP) simply doesn't work, and the firmware has never been updated. It looks that the prior 5-start review was written by someone form their marketing department, not by an user. Looking at the manufacturer's web page and manuals, it seems that all products have the same manual and interface, and they claim to have the same operating modes, whether they actually work for the specific model or not.I wanted to use the BRE71n in WiFi IPS mode (WISP). Regardless of how I set it up, as soon as it connects to the hotspot, the device's AP WiFi and LAN Ethernet die.Get yourself an Edimax BR-6258n and avoid Sapido products.
