## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this a good set for spoon carving?**
A: No.  These chisels are not good for spoon carving - they are too flexible.  Do yourself a favor and get Pfeil chisels - more expensive than these but much higher quality and much more useful.  8L/18 would be good for spoons.

**Q: can these be used with a mallet?**
A: They are not good for use with a mallet as the steel is tempered for flexability, not impact.  Also the handles are lightweight wood.
