Q: How many time can you use the pads?

Q: Dissolve knots in muscle?

Yes! I found relief with the first use using 30 minute timer. I followed another 30 min 3 hours later and knots and spasms were gone. Love this machine!!

Q: Stopped getting charge

You can try replacing the wires of electrode pads; that was what happened to mine. Nevertheless, the replacement wires are not inexpensive and you may be better off getting a new unit. I have several units and was able to test the unit with different wires. If that does not work, that means battery is bad.
