A: I agree....I found nothing that could remove staples.

A: No

**Q: How do I open it for tacting.**
A: To open for tacking, hold bottom with one hand and pull top black piece and staples holder and pull.  Also, this stapler has a push up button under the plate the staples hit when using.  Push it up and you can turn the plate to either
staple or pin documents.

A: Not that i know of
