Perfect Little Safe
So far so good. I'm 63yo female and was able to install this myself. Needed a stud finder, drill and bits bigger than I thought I'd need, a stubby short Phillips head screw driver to remove the shelves, a level, painters tape, sawzall, measuring multiple times and a whole lot of stubbornness in me to not give up. Check what's on the other side of the wall. Mine was next to a bathroom. I knew about the light switches hence measurements multiple times. I'm one that barely has pictures hanging because I don't want to put a hole in the wall. For me to cut a 17" x 15" hole is huge. The first picture makes it look crooked. Trust me it is not, its the angle. I first cut a hole big enough to see inside. Good thing I did since there was wires stapled to the stud. I was able to move those enough to place my anchor screws. The instructions tell you to tap the wall with a hammer to find the studs LOL.. that's cute.

I hat you would expect. A good safe.
What you would expect. It’s a good safe. Is it going to stop a motivated individual with a crowbar from getting into it? No. Will it stop kids and novice burglars? Yup. I wouldn’t store 100k cash in it. I wouldn’t store multiple firearms and ammo in it. I would use it for a quick accessed storage of a firearm. Great for someone who everyday carries and wants a safe in a closet by their front door to put their firearm at the end of the day. Great for keys, maybe some important personal stuff etc. Great for the price.

Great little safe
Great safe, fit inside studs, needs a few extra things. My hubby installed it in an hour. The safe itself has plenty of room for money, small items and some jewelry. Not a gun safe though.
