My parents said they did use to use it back then inside of there mouths for canker sores to and I was raised on this stuff for 30 yrs! If it works Iam using it !! This is the only medicine after trying everything on the market from low to high price and still this is the only thing that dries my canker sore up!! Idc what people say about not using in in your mouth! I haven’t died yet, and haven’t had no side effects! I will still use this on my canker sores till the day I die! I get them from acid items like Tom, pop, and etc and stress!! I say yes, use it on canker sores! U will c it will b gone in no time! **Q: Mine just came and is watery. Is it supposed be or should it be like a paste? It still works but drips all over the place.** A: After 65 years of using the original gel formula without (Aloe), I have never noticed the consistency to be watery and dripping all over the place nor should it be like a paste!
