If you have a pet or kids, this is a great investment. The 5x7 version easily fits into my top-loading washer. I use the delicate cycle for cleaning and medium heat for drying. So far, the colors have not faded (although I purchased an already faded pattern so it is difficult to really tell). While the rug itself is quite thin (think silk oriental thin), it is comfortable to sit on while playing with kids or pets. Mine is in my living room and looks quite nice. My only complaint is putting the rug back in place after washing. The velcro-ish carpet pad upon which the rug sits can be very 'sticky', making it tricky to place the rug back in place without some of the carpet pad showing. I've found that folding the rug into quarters makes things easier though. I would not call this rug stain resistant, but rather you can wash any stains out easily. Overall, this is a great rug and I plan to get more in the future.

I have several of these for the front door and they collect and show dirt rather quickly. However, they must be doing their job because I also have the same one in a room size a few yards away in front of sofa and it still looks pretty good after a year of not washing.

Absolutely gorgeous rug! We have several Ruggables. They are the best with young kids. I deducted one star, because the company moved to a two-piece mat underneath (think a split king setup). I understand how that makes it easier to package, ship, etc. However, it is a nightmare to position and put on the rug cover. The underneath mats slide apart or over top of o each other. It is worse than trying to fold fitted sheets. Unfortunately, I don’t know if we will remove it as often to wash because of how difficult it is now to put together, which kind of defeats the purpose of the Ruggable model.

This rug fit my living space perfectly. Now only dimensionally but colors go well with my natural tones. Was easy to roll out, just be sure to read the instructions before you begin. I may purchase another for my master bedroom. Its new so I haven't had to wash it but definitely recommend it.

This took HOURS to get right. It is also much longer than the pad so the corners don't hook. They say after a wash, it will shrink to size, but this 10x14 is not going to fit in a washer.

I was very hesitant to spend this much money because I thought it might be too good to be true but I jumped in anyway. I got a 8x10 and 2 runners. I have already washed 2 of the 3 within a week of their delivery. They washed easily in a regular washing machine, even the 8x10! They are thin so be prepared for that, but because they are thin they are easy to fit in the washing machine. I have 5 cats and these have been great with any pet stains as well. Sooooo worth the money!

I really liked this rug but now, after three washes, it’s starting to unravel and fall apart and I paid way too much money…. Bummer… *I brought it to a laundromat each time that way I was able to put it in a larger washer and then I hung dryer after every single wash. Still falling apart.* I buy a new rug every year because of my animals and children so I wanted to try something different this year. This is a pretty awesome rug. The material is so unique and it is easy to wash. It takes a little patience to first put it down and it’s easier when you have a second person but it is definitely worth it. It’s nice because after you wash it it’s fresh and new all over again. A basic rug even when you scrub out stains still keeps an order.. this one stays fresh! Washed through my washer for the second time, you have to make sure you rinse it out good in the washer because the size I got is larger. I’ll probably take it to a laundromat with the larger washers next time, but it’s nice that I can still watch it at home and it took overnight to dry when I hung up on my staircase.. love it.

I both this beautiful rug, the quality is good, I loved it, but unfortunately I received it in different color. I bought hazel color!
