RainPoint 3-in-1 Smart Wireless Soil Moisture Meter for Plants Indoor/Outdoor Without Hub, WiFi APP Temperature Sunlight Sensor for Gardening Lawn Houseplants Monitor

Sensor works great as a sensor alone. This sensor is designed to be part of an eco-system. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 star is the Homgar app still needs some work, especially in the programming/scheduling (no time delays available for purging lines for example) and charts don’t show sensor labels, so all sensors look the same on charts. A major update came down that added scenes that were a big improvement over simple schedules, but I am trying to optimize for limited well water in a drip system and need more flexibility in the programming in the app. Also need to be able to export logs. Since there was a major update with major improvements at the time I write this, it appears its still under development and I suspect that the app will only get better with time.

I love most all products from Rainpoint. This soil humidity temperature and light sensor works great in my total plan for watering my lawn. I use it to determine how much water to put in my lawn so fungus does not take over. It’s critical to my lawn care. It’s well worth the money for what it does, and you can pick the quality

These soil sensors although a bit bulky work well. I have purchased 17 and all work well but two which Rainpoint replaced. They are easy to connect once the hub is setup and provide humidity, temp and lux readings. They are part of a smart ecosystem for monitoring and watering a garden

Works fast and is easy to use

I bought this sensor to monitor soil temps in my yard which the ad claims it does. There is no soil temp reported on the app. only ambient temperature. Sending back for refund
