Works, but hard to remove the batteries. Cannot charge from solar to USB directly.
I measure almost 1.5 volts for each charging battery, so it seems to work. (I ain't no electrician). But I don't like removing the batteries from the charger. The tiny arms under the batteries meant to be used to remove popped out of their mounting sockets the first time I used then...useless. If you insert four batteries in the four slots, you need a screwdriver to lever them out.Note also that you cannot charge from the solar panel to the USB port. You must charge batteries, then charge from them to USB, two operations that the up the charger.

Great So Far
Based on the initial appearance, it has great quality and the solar panel has so much more surface area than other solar AA chargers I have tried, which explains why it can charge a set of 4 batteries in just 6 hours compared to 2-3 days for some of the smaller products I tried. Looking forward to trying it out when the weather warms up.

Nice setup
This is the first piece of solar panel kit that I have ever purchased, so I can't compare it's performance to other cheaper systems. I purchased this based off a trusted recommendation and can say, I really like this product. It's small and compact, easy to carry in a EDC. The panels do charge the pack through the course of a day and the little blue lights are easy to see. I had to supply my own cord because I use a iPhone, which has the Thunderbolt connector. I use the other part of the Apple power cord setup, the "brick", with the supplied cord to initially charge the pack. I do recommend this product and seller.

Works fine
I put in 4 AA rechargeable batteries (half depleted) into the charger and exposed the unite to direct sunlight. It charged the batteries as quick as a regular charger hooked up to 110 voltage. So it seems to work just fine and I am pretty happy with it.

Great unit
Love the versatility of this unit. You can charge it from a computer, the nice solar panel and use the batts for any double or triple-A battery driven device. Wish there was a case for this thing. As it is it comes in a box and no case so if you are wanting to keep it all together for camping or an emergency bag you will need to find a case. For the price, it should have at least had some sort of bag. The unit is solid though.

Does what I want and packable
Received without an AC charger, but have plenty laying around. Charged my dead cell phone on a cloudy day in about 3 hours. Relatively lightweight, definitely packable. The battery pack is like most in size and weight. Tap to see the charge level takes a small level of patience.
