The Refined Feline Lotus Branch Cat Shelf, Sturdy Wave Design Cat Wall Perch, Wooden Comfortable Berber Carpet Faux Fur Cats Bed

I searched the internet looking for cat shelves to install in my new condo. Every time I searched I came back to these shelves so decided to purchase them and could not be happier. They did take 2 people to install and the studs in my unit were more like 20 inches apart instead of the 16 inches of the pre-drilled holes. I ended up installing them into 1 stud (2 studs for the branch, and used 3/16 in. x 3 in. Zinc-Plated Steel Toggle Bolt Anchors for the other holes. They seem very sturdy and my cats aren't too heavy (5 and 9 lbs each) so I think this will be secure enough.The cats are really taking to them. They like to scratch on the carpet and when the sun hits the shelves that is their favorite spot.

Overall, love this shelf! You'll love it even more if your studs are spaced evenly and match the predrilled holes. I had to drill my own holes in the wood to drill into studs, which I wish I didn't have to do, but (of course) the studs in my wall are not standard 16" apart. From a few feet away, the three new screws aren't really noticeable and instead of using the six caps for the screws that hit studs, I also drilled holes in the wall using the original holes that came predrilled and covered it with the caps. This way, at least the caps are all on and evenly spaced out where they are intended to be. Cant wait to get the smaller shelf and add to the wall :)

I originally bought one long (branch) and two short (leaf) but it wasn't enough to reach to the windows so I bought another long one...my 2.5 year old cat, Pepper, loves playing and lounging up above me while I work from home.

The cats love it. We’re very happy with how sturdy they are. Shipping was extremely fast. We’ll definitely be adding more.

Cats love it BUT CAUSED MY CAT’S ENTIRE NAIL TO RIP OUT and a trip to emergency vet- I even trimmed my cats nails the day before it happened and they were super short. If something startles your cat, say an outside noise, the Berber loop catches nails so just something to keep in mind. The white faux fur would be safer- but apparently you can’t buy that replacement only the Berber. Now I have to put towels over it and try and make my own faux fur pad. Also pre-drilled holes were too short in width apart so we had to drill in different spots.

This shelf is huge like 5.5 ft. Great worksmanship. My cat love it.
