This was extremely easy to use and I had it working out of the box within five minutes. Plug it into an outlet close to the edge of your wifi range. Then, select Wireless N when it shows up in your wifi. Go to 192.168.1.254 on your phone or repeater. Password is admin. Click on wizard and, if you're just wanting to extend your wifi range, click on wifi repeater. All of a sudden, the webpage no longer works. That's it. You're done. It's now invisible on the network and extending your range FAR beyond what it was.I put it on an outside wall. We wanted to be able to watch netflix from the yard. Now, we can.

I am a senior and not so 'techy'. I had a dead spot in my bedroom that is very far from our router so I decided to give this gadget a try. I was so grateful that it was an easy fix--even for me! Thank you!!

It arrived on time, but the directions were the worst I have ever come across. Print was very small and the IP address they told me to use was wrong. The picture on the box and the instructions did not look like my product. My product was the one pictured here, and after trying different IP addresses I finally got the correct one. Once I figured out the correct IP, the rest was simple. So far I am happy with the product and may change it to 5 star as soon as I get over the stress of the setup.

Easy 3 step installation. Plug it in choose the network enter password for that network. Boom you are done.

Arrived early and seems to be exactly what I needed. Only thing I would have liked better is for instructions to have been larger print. The tiny print made it a little difficult for my old eyes to see to follow instructions for set up.

I went through all the reviews and took screen shots of the setup issues and how to resolve so I would have them on hand during my setup. The instructions that come with the product leave the main part out. I was so ticked in trying to set this up I was about ready to return it. I came to work and asked my IT guy what I could possibly be wrong because I never could get to the admin screen. The main thing I was not doing that I have not found anywhere is that when you plug in the repeater you see it in your wireless options. In order to use the IP address I had to disconnect from my current wireless. When doing so it allowed the admin screen to come up. From there I was able to get into the setting and set it up as a repeater. It now allows me to get 2 bars of WIFI in another building located about 120' from my house. I would rate this 5 stars but someone that is not tech savy I can see where frustration will come into play. The setup instructions need to be written clearer.

Yes, I almost smashed it into a million pieces out of frustration. But once I did get it comnected I couldn't be happier. The 4 stars instead of 5 is because the instructions could have and should have been more specific.I'm definitely not a techy, but I do have a general appitude for electronics and they rarely, if ever, get the better of me, so that increased my annoyance and frustration.

Doesn't work. Instructions are the most horrible I've ever seen, even though I have installed a few wi-fi extenders before. It doesn't say that in order to access their setup website, you have to first physically connect the extender via the ethernet cable to your computer. Once you do that, you can access the setup page. First I chose the wireless AP mode. It put a NP wifi network on my settings, but once my computer was hooked up to it I got no internet. Then I tried the repeater mode - at least this one asked me to choose my existing router and enter its password. Then when I tried to access this new extended network it would not recognize the password. Tried both methods 3-4 times. A piece of junk.
