The grooves in the surface are not enough to give the dog grip and confidence.The build of the ramp is strong, but still too steep when used with SUV.End result is that the dog tries to avoid the ramp or is stressed when using it.Hopefully he will get more used to it over time.

Brought to help my one old girl with arthritis and my other whos lost her boing after leg surgery get in/ out the boot of my X- trail, brilliant, not too steep, grooves enough to give then grip, after the inital coxing to use it, no problem with either of them, did exactly what id hoped it would do, and great it folds for easy carry and storage in car.

The product worked well but our dog hated it and refused to walk up and down it. Fitted our 4 wheel drive vehicle well.

Product arrived with no problem. Absolutely unsuitable for my elderly dog as she is unable to grip and injured herself when using for 1st time. I have used a ramp for the last 12 months which has a ‘sandpaper’ type surface which has worked perfectly, this one however does not. In fairness i have been sent a returns label but unfortunately the cost to return it is not worth it for me.
