This dish is just as described. I went further and looked at other reviews for this product. All were very good. My cat loves this dish. He doesn't have to crouch to eat, it doesn't crowd his whiskers, and there is nothing for food to get stuck under. He doesn't spill any wet food, and there is very little spillage of dry food as long as you don't overfill the dish.The dish is porcelain and very easy to clean. I'm not sure if it's dishwasher safe, but it cleans so easily I don't see the need to ever put it in a dishwasher. I wanted to order another one, but it's not currently available on Amazon so when the seller contacted me to make sure everything was okay, I asked when it would be available again. They replied right away and said it was on back order and I could expect to see it available in about a month.I considered other brands, but I like the material this dish is made of, the height is perfect for my cat, and the bottom is closed and not hollow which makes this dish very stable.Well, it was a little longer than a month, but the seller was correct, and this dish was available on Amazon again. I bought another one, and now have the convenience of rotating the dishes for dry and wet food. My cat still loves this dish and is very comfortable eating out of it. I think plastic dishes harbor too much bacteria, and still love the way this washes up so easily.

My cat just had her eye removed and she needed to wear her e-collar for two weeks until her incision is healed. During this difficult time, it is hard for her to get to her foods with her cone on. Someone suggest I should look for a elevated flat dish bowl. I am so glad I find just the perfect size, small enough for her cone to get to her bowl. The bowl sturdy and heavy enough without her knocking it down, I like that it is ceramic which made it easy to clean. The design is nice, clean and simple. I highly recommend this product!

My beautiful, sweet, 14 year old cat ("Porsche") has been slowing down and is showing signs of aging. I recently read that elevating a bowl can be very beneficial for an older cat. It is more comfortable for aging or arthritic cats as it allows the cat to eat in a more natural position which improves digestion; it encourages an intake of more food, providing more nutrition; it reduces or even ends regurgitation. I have found all these things to be true!Concerning this cat bowl, I find it to be attractive, well made, sturdy and very easy to clean. Porsche never gets her whiskers in her food anymore because of the flatness of the dish, yet no food ever falls on the floor because of the slight upward curve of the dish. And more importantly, I really like the way this cat bowl looks in my kitchen!\\^ .^//

These bowls are really well made, nice and sturdy and easy to clean. They’re well made porcelain, all in one piece versus a bottom piece and detachable top.The tops are wide enough to allow my cats to eat their food without their whiskers grazing the bowl and they’re a good height but not too tall so that the my cats don’t have to hunker down to eat. This is becoming more important as they become older. Evidently the height also helps to keep them from regurgitating their food but I haven’t had these long enough to notice if this is true. Makes sense though so who am I to argue?All in all, I’m very happy with this purchase and plan to buy two more next month.

I'd read that an elevated food dish was best for the cats and these seem to be the right height. They can eat standing up or I've also seen them sitting, but without their little cat heads hunched over. The dishes are sturdy, stable, easy to clean. I also like that they are almost flat as I only feed wet food. The shape makes it easy to feed wet food without them having to bury their heads in a bowl, which is not a good shape for feeding cats. I'm quite pleased with this purchase.

I love everything about this dish, and it has features that I didn't know were even a thing - like no sides to interfere with whiskers and a small little "ergonomic" lip on the edge to reduce spills. Our 15-year old cat loves this dish. Being elevated, she is much more comfortable. Also, we find hardly any food on the floor anymore: it is wide enough so when we put her wet food mixed with hot water, there is still a lot of space around the food and none gets pushed off the edge. It is very stable, easy to put anywhere, and very easy to clean. I can't think of a single "con". I highly recommend this dish, especially for senior cats.

I love these bowls. So much that I purchased another two, because they help my older, CKD cat eat for longer without getting tired. They are easy to clean, BUT be warned, while wet are very slippery, and they can't take even a very short drop into the sink well (I'm talking about an inch or two). I broke two, one while washing the other while drying (although the drying part one had some help from my hyper dogs chasing eathother and crashing into me). I am already debating purchasing again since they are so easy for my cat to eat from.
