It has mostly the same ingredients as Ligaplex I but with natural coQ10 added. I get it for my dog who has joint pain and after taking Ligaplex II for only 2 months he has much less pain and is not as stiff in the AM. **Q: Why is cyanocobalamin in this? the cheap cyanide form of b12 is not the quality i thought sp was supposed to be.** A: No idea. Ask the manufacturer. **Q: what is the difference between ligaplex 1 and 2?** A: I don't know. I assume Ligaples 2 is an improved formula, so that's what I use. My sheltie gets one capsule each night as recommended strongly by her veteranarian. She competes at the highest levels of dog agility which stresses the joints and ligaments. She is 9 1/2 and very healthy! **Q: Does this product contain any gluten? I notice it has a caution list with the allergens, but it is cut off in the photo.** A: Wheat germ is gluten. Oat flours also contain gluten. People who are allergic to gluten are allergic or sensitive to barley and rye also and all the grasses. Sorry, Manufacturer, this item is not gluten free. Highly recommend ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HIP & KNEE replacement Patients!! Get this product! *by J***B on 17 September 2015* I am a dual total hip replacement & total knee replacement patient. My orthopaedic surgeon told me that I am a "loose woman"...meaning my ligaments are very loose. That was pretty funny when he said that to me, but it is true. I always ran funny, and instead of sitting on the floor with my legs crossed like most kids did, I sat like a "frog" or like a "W". I was a low birth weight twin in 1955 and he told me that my loose ligaments are common in females of a multiple birth. ANYWAY...I wound up having to have a revision surgery for my right hip, because I began experiencing partial dislocation events! If you want to go into a blind panic, with no warning...this kind of issue will put you there! My loose ligaments contributed to this experience, and they had to go back in and install a larger diameter ball into the hip socket, so it would not try to dislocate, should I somehow over stretch the joint--which is very easy for me to do! So far, so excellent with this revision surgery, I am happy to say! But, all my issues made me very, very UNSTABLE in walking, standing, etc. So, I wind up going to a chiropractor to help me try to relax my body, because having to constantly pay attention to how I am moving got me to feeling so tight, it wasn't funny. She suggested LIGAPLEX to me. She told me that the MANGANESE in it, really tightened up your ligaments. Well, I was up for anything at that point! I started taking it and I was AMAZED the difference of how I felt, stability-wise within a couple weeks! I have been taking it for about 18 months now, and would not be without it. Initially, my chiropractor told me that I would only need to take it for a couple months, then I would probably be okay for a while, as the manganese would stay in my system. I have subsequently realized that although I don't take the dosage I did when I first started...I now take HALF dosage daily, and it is a miracle.
