If this was offered in 42"x30" like the National Geographic wall maps, I would have bought that size. :D It would be nice if they offered a laminated print.

White sands is still listed as a national monument instead of a national park. My brother found another error.The map delaminated in humid Wisconsin and the coating cracked in extreme Arizona heatThat said, I bought another of the same because I do like the map.

This really is a fine map and worth the price. I wish I'd had it when I worked for these agencies, but now I'm retired and looking a map to show where I've been and where I've yet to go. I'm still keeping my folded map of US National Parks, but this is the one that's going on my wall. I mounted my new map on thick foam core board (i.e., gatorboard) and have been busy sticking in map pins for the last couple of days. After putting about 200 pins in the board so far, I can tell you that this glossy cardstock is strong and it holds the pins well without ripping. It's a little crowded with all these wonderful places marked on it, but it might be nice to have State parks on the map too.

I ordered the map for my husband for Christmas and it is one of the best gifts I have ever given him. Now that we are retired, we are visiting more national parks and monuments and he is marking each one that we have visited over the last 48 years of marriage.He purchased a corkboard from a local shop and has hung the map on it. He uses sewing pins with large different colored heads to mark the different kinds of places we have been. His map is already pretty colorful but we have many more places to go.

Really liked that it came in different colors and was very impressed with the customer service by the seller. My first map arrived crushed and unusable. Amazon contacted the seller who immediately reached out to me and sent me a new map. the second one arrived in great condition. The only wish I would have of this map is for it to be a little more laminated, if there are no plans to put pins in it. Otherwise, it's perfect for keeping track of all your journeys and memories.

Our purpose with this map is to chart places we visit with our family. Just a map of the National Parks would not be enough, so the additional sites on this map was perfect for us. It will allow us to put more pins in the map as we go with our children.We didn't anticipate the money it would cost us to frame it, but since it's something we'll be keeping for many years, we were happy to pay the money to make it look right.

Using the map with pins to track visited National Parks. Really like that it shows sites for all the agencies, we primarily visit NPS sites but good to know what other areas might be worth a detour. Used 3M spray adhesive (~$8) to stick the map to a foam display board cut down to size (~$10), mounted this in a poster frame (~$20). Very impressed with the finished product.
