My experience may not be everybody's, but I bought this and it appeared to be working fine. I'm from Canada and living in England, so most of my items run on 120V which this extension cord is advertised to convert. My steamer however, overloaded when being plugged in and is now ruined, which leads me to believe it wasn't converting the charge properly.With that said, I gave 4 stars because MOXOM compensated me for my ruined item. Yes it took some time and this isn't what people want, but it was likely a faulty extension cord and most other ones probably work fine. They refunded me $60 so I would say to anyone they are a trustworthy company who you can rely on.Worth purchasing items from MOXOM!

I bought something similar in Singapore 12 years ago and could never understand why somewhere like Maplin wouldn't stock them (I tried!). You can use any international plugs so if like me you prefer to save space and weight taking EU or US plugs this is perfect. And obviously also takes a UK plug too. The 6 USB ports mean I can charge every iPad and iPhone in the family as well as camera batteries. I've bought three as Christmas presents for each of the children so they don't keep stealing mine.

1) Unfortunately the earth pins are head-to-head so that, if you insert an adapter that bulges above the earth pin, the opposite socket cannot be used. If you have two such adapters then the Moxom becomes a 2-way extension box -rather than 4-way. 2) The pin-holes are extremely tight. I had to prise a plug out with a screwdriver. 3) The instruction leaflet refers to the item as "Smart" and refers to an input voltage of 110 to 240. This has given some customers the impression that you can plug a 110v item into a Moxom that is connected to 240v - a potentially dangerous misunderstanding.

The best thing about this is the size and weight, considering it has all those universal plugs it is remarkably compact yet still perfectly useable. Everything works as it should, although none of the USB plugs can fast charge my Samsung phone. I have another unit that does do that. That said, this gets close, so there is decent voltage going through. The universal plugs are great if you're a world nomad like me, one of these and a multi adaptor are heaven-sent for travellers. I can't comment on long-term durability of this Chinese product just yet, but the unit seems well made and I can't see why it would not be as resilient as any other power strip. I'm glad I bought this and can recommend it.

HiThese plugs & USB are brilliant..This is my second one as I use a lot of gadgets either with a plug or a USB .Are homes never have enough sockets to keep up with the techno of today.So your thinking of buying one ,you want be disappointed. They are great

Very pleased that the USB supplies sufficient power to use a card reader through Apple Photo Adapter. UK plug with EU 10 amp socket adapter works well for me. PLEASE NOTE that this appliance does not appear to be earthed so be very wise about what you plug in. Must say I do like it.

This is by far the most useful thing I ever bought! Since most of my devices come with a non-UK plug it’s really difficult and expensive to get adapters for all of them. This extension lead solved my problem! The 6 USB’s are a huge plus as well, I highly recommend this one.

This is the best extension lead that I've ever bought.It is perfect for use on my desk top. It has everything I need in a neat attractive little unit.The quality is outstanding.I highly recommend this extension lead.
