Not quite a laugh a minute.
Over the years the tongue in cheek section of Private Eye has slowed down a little and lost its sense of fun. I used to laugh out loud but not any more. Too much 'from the message boards' and not enough 'st cake's school' for instance. However Craig Brown keeps up the high standard and his Mary Berry piece was absolutely hilarious.

Brilliant and topicalliy hilarious.
The political year in a satirical nutshell. Not an annual you'd read cover to cover in one sitting but I love dipping in and out of it as each month passes. Hilarious illustrations and many a true word written in a way.only Ian Hislop could get away with.

An enjoyable gift for the discerning adult. A suitable read for those who enjoyed Annuals like the 'Beano' Dandy'and 'Hotspur' as a young person. An excellent compendium of articles and cartoons, amusing and serious. Love it.
