Body Basics Soothing Shave Gel Extra Moisturizing for Him, 7 Fluid Ounce (Pack of 6)

I found this shave gel to be incredibly rich and moisturizing. It actually feels thicker and denser than Edge gel. It has a great scent and just a little produces an amazing layer of thick foam. After a couple weeks use, I'm finding that my skin looks better after shaving than it did with the Edge gel. My skin actually looks clearer and brighter and the only difference in my routine in the morning is using the Body Basics. This is a definite try it and you will like it situation. The product is superior at *any* price to gels like Edge or Dove. I really like it!

Great shave cream for the price

This shave cream seems to lack gel and is mostly foam, very similar to Gillette shave cream. Tried this as a reduced price from Amazon, but I am going back to Edge. Edge has the gel, you can see, feel on your skin, and I prefer that consistency which give me a better, smoother shave.

This stuff is a different texture than Edge, but I think the shave is just as good.

Main Reason: I wanted something that wasn't animal-tested. They have an 800 (or 877) number that an actual person picks it up and answers your questions. It also says that it is made in Canada and the quality control is perhaps decent.

I ordered this as a replacement for Gillette Edge Gel. The product itself is great, but I have noticed that the cans must depressurize or something over time, because there is a lot of product left in the canister before the propellant gives up the ghost. Once I figured in for product wasted due to depressurization, I decided to switch back to the name brand.

When I switched from an electric razor that left me looking like I needed to shave, I tried Gillette foam. Body basics is identical, down to the two shades of blue that emerge when you rub it. The texture may be slightly thinner than Gillette, but not enough to make any practical difference.
