I’ve been using this dash cam for about 2 years now (a few days short from the exact date I bought it actually as I wrote this review), and it’s been reliable the entire time. Recording quality has been consistent, and I’ve never had any issues with it failing to record when I needed it. For the price, it’s been a great purchase. One thing I do want to mention for anyone living in a hot, humid climate: I live in an area where summer temperatures regularly reach the mid-90s with high humidity. The included double-sided adhesive eventually started to lose its grip from the heat, causing the camera to come loose and hang. This wasn’t an issue with the camera itself—just the adhesive. I replaced it with Gorilla Heavy Duty Double-Sided Mounting Tape, and it has held up much better ever since. I also upgraded the included 64GB microSD card to a 256GB card. With loop recording enabled, that increased my storage from roughly 2 days of footage to around 6 days, which gives me much more peace of mind in case I don’t check or download footage right away. Overall, after two years of daily use, I’d definitely recommend this dash cam. If you live somewhere with hot summers, I’d suggest budgeting for a better mounting tape, and if you want longer recording history, consider upgrading to a larger-capacity memory card.

Update (8/13/2024): I was able to figure out the issue and so I am updating my review. Once connected, it is a very nice camera and easy to use. The issue was that I had a VPN on my phone which was preventing the camera from connecting to WiFi. Once I turned off the VPN, it worked perfectly. ————- With all the good reviews I was really excited to receive this camera. Mounting the camera was easy, but it would not connect to WiFi, the date on the camera is incorrect and I have no way to change it because without the WiFi connection the app is useless, so you can't access any camera controls or even see if the location where you mounted it is correct unless you take out the memory card and view the footage that way. I purchased it so that I could have the convenience of accessing the camera on my phone, but that's out the window. I have tried all the trouble shooting suggestions, useless. I contacted customer support an I am still waiting to hear back. If it can't be fixed, I am just going to return it a purchase a different camera. It's unfortunate, I really wanted to like this camera.

This dashcam failed me the 2 times I needed it most. I was hit by a car in the beginning of the year, initially I pulled up the footage and confirmed what happened. Days later when I went back to get it, it was gone. And mind you, I am not saying everything from that day and the days before were gone. I’m saying the footage specifically of the accident were gone. There was actually footage of stuff that happened the day before, and there was even some footage of stuff that happened that day, but the actual footage I needed of the actual accident was gone. I reached out to the customer service to try and see if there was a way I can recover what I needed and even though they asked me to clarify, no one got back to me on how I can get it. Fast-forward to earlier this week, another car crossing into my lane hit me at a high speed pushing me onto the side of the embankment. Unlike the last time, I can still see the files of that event, but for some reason, they are corrupted, and I can’t download them, and even when I took out the memory card to put it into a tablet to see if I can just play the footage that way it wouldn’t load and again everything else, the moments before, everything after plays fine but the footage I actually needed for some reason was corrupted. This device is not worth the money. It looks cool. It seems to be exactly what you’re looking for but it fails you when you needed the most. I wish I could give it a half star or no star.

We needed a dash camera for my vehicle since we do a lot of road trips. I have been looking around and came across this camera. I was impressed with with the reviews as well as the price point. I decided to pull the trigger and ordered one. The install was not bad. I was nervous, but I was able to do it on my own and I was able to hide the wires. I didn’t want them to be seen or dangling everywhere. The customer service had been great. They reached out immediately offering any assistance with the camera. The model I ordered has the front view anlong with the interior view with a separate rear camera. The video I attached just shows a screen grab from my phone while it recorded the front viewing camera and the rear camera. I didn’t want to show myself from the interior angle. Within the app, you can select the timeframe of the recordings. For example, you can have one minute recordings or two minute recordings. You also can turn on or off the microphone based on your preference. The quality is very sharp and the app is very easy to use. The only thing that can be frustrating is that you can’t access your recordings unless the camera has power and you’re able to connect the app to the camera through its own Wi-Fi source. You also can’t adjust any settings unless you are connected to it…which means it has power and you are connected to it through its WiFi source. Once I got used to that, then it wasn’t so much a big deal. As much traveling as we do, I’m sure it would be a matter of time before we actually capture something worth posting. I’m really glad I got this set up. It came with an SD card and I thought about getting a card with a bigger memory, but so far the one that came with it holds a lot of videos.

After less than 2 years of use, this camera constantly reboots while I am driving. On the other hand, the videos are clear and it has helped with an insurance claim that someone tried to blame me for. For the the price, I would consider buying it again and replacing it but it’s just inconvenient to do so. Also, It was easy to install myself considering I usually leave the that part to my husband.
