Delivery was much sooner than scheduled. Dislike that calculation are in kilometers and meters but that is tolerable. Seems to work as advertised.

If you are looking to discover the actual flight track of your racers, this system gives you an incredible amount of data. These GPS rings plot the speed, altitude and distance traveled from a set start time. The ring is retrieved and the data downloaded to plot the flight path. The system took some trial and error on my part due to my lack of computer expertise. This system does not provide real-time GPS data. Training rings are provided to acclimate the birds to wearing the rings, which snap over (around and on top of) a standard AU type band.

Purchased this fall. I performed 7 test training flights using just 1 of the rings on one bird of the group, recharging after each use. The GPS tracking was informative and some of the routes they took were unexpected. Information we dreamed of having years ago, is now easy to obtain, and easy to track. The software install was simple and the driver download went very well. Connected up quickly and off we went.Although light in weight, it is a little bulky for the Pigeon to wear constantly, but easy enough to remove and place on leg when in use. I started with the dummy band to get bird accustomed to the weight, but I think they would be just fine without the test. I only tested out to 50 miles, but a very cool product.

I give 4 tars because I really enjoy being able to track my birds. The product comes with little instructions but is fairly simple to figure out. However, when I had trouble with reading a ring because I had set it up improperly, it was a lot of waiting for each reply. The problem was eventually resolved and the program is very informative. I discovered a bird I should have been paying closer attention to. She has done nothing outstanding in the loft but out performs on her gps track. Very cool!

Tracking homing pigeons between the Canary Islands when in races. And helping find them if they got lost.

Used in y.b. training. Absolutely fascinating seeing the 'line' and also altitude and speed during their flight. Can thoroughly recommend this product and wouldn't be without it now.

I have 3 sets of these trackers. Yes when they work they are cool. But their customer support sucks. I am currently having issues and they refuse to reply other than send a video on how to use them. I’m very tech savvy and these are a joke. They are hit and miss if they will track. I just wish they would try to help. If they ever finally work I will never buy them again. I’ll go buy the others that are more money and hope they aren’t as bad. If they ever help make them work constantly I may increase the score but zero 0 stars is a more accurate rating.
