Plastic :O would like to have them in glass jars
These are super good for unexpected visitors. Wish they stop using plastic and start using glass jars.Plastic is extremely harmful to our environment. We add water to it, just a couple of table spoons and its tastes so much better.great to fill up teenagers bottomless bellies.

Bog standard and soggy
Uncle Ben's rice tends to be stuck together in a wedge within the packet. You will need to break up the large lump before microwaving to get an even heat. The result is a stodgy and soggy serving. I think I'll try a different brand next time.

Classic In need of a little inspiration? Chicken Tandoori never fails to satisfy - just add spinach for a tasty meal in no time. Microwave - From Ambient - Squeeze the pouch to separate the rice. Tear open the top corner slightly. Heat for 2 mins in a 700W microwave or 90 sec in a 900W. Stir rice through for a perfect finish. Hob - From Ambient - Squeeze the pouch to separate the rice. Boil 30ml (about 2 tbsp) water. Add the rice, cover and simmer for 3 mins. Stir rice through for a perfect finish.
