Initially I believed an MP 495 error msg was related to the Kogain color cart. This was the first time I used one. I now believe that the Kogain was NOT responsible. I've printed several test prints w/the Kogain and the MP 495 did not get indigestion. The prints are excellent.I'll keep printing w/the Kogain color cart and will definitely purchase another. I problems arise, I'll edit this down.I've not yet used the black.KOGAIN CUSTOMER SERVICE: I'm impressed! They read my earlier review and were eager to make me happy. Without any request on my part, they offered a refund which I accepted. I felt it only fair then to give their product another try and glad I did.Frankly, I've never dealt with a company with Kogain's positive approach to customer service. So, if by chance, their product does not meet your exacting standards, you can be sure they'll stand behind it.

Update:I can't give a lower star rating than 1, but I wish I could. But I wanted to give an update. I kept using the black, then I noticed last week after not using my printer for a while that it was printing black lines all over everything I printed, I pulled the the black out only to discover it was leaking black ink all over the inside of my printer. Took an hour of cleaning before I could start to even see a difference in the amount of lines of leaking ink being left. Tossed that last one in the bin and will never again by this brand.Also the company contacted me upon me leaving this review and tried offering a replacement product in exchange for removing my 1 star review; they all but begged me to remove it because "1 star reviews hurt small companies", they wouldn't leave me alone until I finally told them I wanted to be left alone. My words to them are this, if you don't want a 1 star review, make a better product.Original:These have always given me a low quality print, the color has always been bad and never printed true. Along with having massive lines across whatever I want to print (note I have used Cannon brand and walmart brand ink and they have all worked fine). The copper backing on the color was half peeled away when I got it and now the color has stopped being seen by my printer as the right kind and keeps throwing an error no matter what voodoo I try. Don't bother wasting your money. Buy something better.

Update - The seller contacted me and issued a full refund, even though past the return period. I appreciate their response and customer serviceThe color ink cartridge did not print at all. I realized that when it was too late for return. I messaged the seller about the issue but received no response. Poor quality of product and poor response from the seller. Subsequently purchased the Canon ink cartridges. Twice as much but I know it will work.

I was very unsure about a remanufactured ink. But i don't liked paying the high price for a brand new one. I read all the reviews, and it seemed there was more positive then negative. So i took a chance and ordered the kogain ink. I had no problems!! I will definately order them again. And the were in my office in a flash... fast shipping & easy installment.

Black cartridge worked just fine. Color cartridge caused an E5 error on the printer. The most common cause of an E5 error is a non-compatible cartridge. Enough said. Won't buy from this company again.Edit: Company got in contact with me and issued a full refund for the product. Changed review from a 1-star to a 4-star.

Bought these in an attempt to minimize cost, this also minimized the results. All the nozzle cleaning and alignments in the world did nothing to improve the quality, there is absolutely no blue in the color cartridge, overall I got what I paid for.Update: the company had amazing customer service and contacted me about my troubles and provided a full refund of the purchase price.

I don't give bad reviews but I would not buy this again. It did not work from day one. This has nothing to do for the company selling this item. I use my printer a lot so always keep an extra on hand. When I finally put this one in and it didn't work, It was too late to ask for a refund, so they may or may not have backed this product.The customer service was exceptional. They made everything right, the reason for raising the stars. I will definitely be buying again.

This is my 2nd time ordering. Was pleased with them after the 1st order, so definitely decided to order again.Below is the first review.I needed ink for my printer but ink cartridges for Canon are so expensive. I thought I'd look on Amazon & came across this set. I didn't know how well it would work but thought it's much cheaper than Canon, so I'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it printed. I think it printed just as well as Canon & cost much less. Shipping was quick as well. I'll definitely order again when I need more.
