La Bonne Vie French Style Brie, 14 oz

I'm a picky brie eater. I love brie. I was skeptical ordering it online, but I decided to give it a go. It's great! Tastes just right (some brie's have a pretty bad aftertaste) - this doesn't have that aftertaste - just good tasking cheese!

Nice flavor but the texture is a bit firm. The 'triple cream' is even better if you like your brie a bit runny.

This is without a doubt the best Brie I've had since Balducci's closed. Puts to shame all the doubleand triple cream Brie's made for the American market that are little more than salt blocks with noflavor. This one is almost as good as the Brie's I had in France.

Flavorful & creamy brie. Melts nicely. I use this to make cheese sauce for pasta.

A good value if you like bland cheese. The only thing "brie" about this cheese is the name, and note that it's sold as French "style". Even Président brand is better than this.

This cheese is part of the FDA's Old Europe Cheese, Inc. recall due to Listeria concerns.I bought it on October 1. I'm pretty sure the recall had already been announced. I'm just glad I saw the news article and dug deeper. And I am really concerned about Amazon Fresh's policies and procedures regarding recalls.

I like this product but it is not easy to spread.
