Seeds did great
My seeds did great! Got them for Christmas and now that they’re planted they’re all doing well and producing. Put 2-3 seeds in each seedling spot and I think just about every single one of them germinated. My tomato plant is actually about 7ft tall now. Good variety of different stuff but wish they didn’t include so many things like celery or radishes and beets. If you’re a prepper and looking for seeds these are great because they definitely seem to germinate in my experience and you’ll have food, but not exactly the common vegetables you’d often eat on a daily/weekly basis. If you’re just gardening immediately with them, they’re still great and you’ll have plenty to choose from and experiment with.

Great variety and germination rates are great so far!
These seem to be excellent quality seeds. First impressions were good. Well packaged, well labeled seeds with an information sheet explaining germination rates and some other basic info. My use case might be a little different: I am starting these seeds in an Aerogarden Bounty using a 50 plant seed starting tray and generic peat sponges made to fit the aerogarden. This is my first time using non-miracle grow brand seeds with an aerogarden despite owning it for several years. I purchased a small vivosun grow tent and will transfer the seedlings into an indoor grow tent until an appropriate time to move them outside, or I may just end up doing a ton of indoor container gardening year round. To test these seeds out I started 47 seeds on February 2, 2021 (I used the remaining 3 spots to start 3 miracle grow lavender pods removed from their plastic shell.) I'm writing this review five days later on February 7th because an incredible 37/47 of the heirloom seed variety plants have already sprouted. I wrote down the name of the plant on a sheet of paper that matches the seed starting tray and all were started on 2/2. In red pen on the sheet of paper pictured with my review I've written down the date each plant sprouted. I've been tracking this daily since I planted them and can't believe how many germinated and sprouted so quickly. If you're on the fence about these seeds, I'd recommend them based on my experience so far. Once these are transplanted into small pots and moved to my grow tent I will start the remaining varieties and will try to update this review when those sprout.

Bought this for my dad's Christmas gift and you want to talk about some GOOD TIMING
My dad is terribly difficult to buy for but he's an avid gardener who also loves trying new foods, so this seemed like a great idea. He was very happy with it when he opened it at Christmas and said he planned to try growing a few things from it come spring.... and then the pandemic hit.Now he and my mother (both mid-60s so high risk) are self-isolating as much as they possibly can, including trying to go to the store as little as possible. My dad's garden last year was small and mostly "recreational"--they ate or froze a lot of it, but it wasn't a main source of food.Well, this year he's plowed up about an acre and this is a serious endeavor. And since seeds have gotten hard to find (a lot of people are growing food now, which is great! unless you need seeds...) he's planted a TON of the seeds in this variety pack! Tomatoes and beans, melons and zucchini, eggplant and peas, corn and squash and pumpkins and lettuce and onions and herbs... so many delicious things! And he plans to keep seeds from everything he's planted for next year. This is a FANTASTIC assortment and so, so useful. It may be the best gift I've ever given him. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this for any gardener in your life, and strongly urge you to get one for yourself too.

Great value and selection, with minor drawbacks
TLDR: A good buy, probably worth the money, with some minor issues in terms of selection and sprout vigor.Overall this seed kit is great. Wide variety of plants, especially cole crops, greens, and beans. The variety encourages you to try growing crops that you normally wouldn't attempt. Packages are well labeled and easy to deal with.Germination rate was high for everything I've tried planting so far, which only includes indoor starters (asparagus, cabbage, broccoli, kale, Brussels sprouts, eggplant, leeks) and some early outdoor veggies (radishes, turnips, spinach). The only reasons I give a 4-star review are because1.) There were no peppers of any kind in this kit. Why the heck not? Wouldn't you consider peppers to be a staple crop for the home gardener?2.) Despite a high germination rate, a lot of cole sprouts have inexplicably died about 4 weeks in. I have a few years of intensive home gardening experience, and I don't remember such a precipitous drop in survival at this stage.I've had a lot of fun with this kit so far, and I look forward to future experiments with its seed selection.

A+for matching description
Left off 1 star, just because this is a preliminary postI ordered this seed packet after seeing reviews for similar products, where due to Covid, many substitutions were made. The Heirloom 42 arrived sooner than expected and true to it's description in Amazon and package labeling, has all 42 varieties listed. no duplicates and no substitutions. I haven't planted any yet, but wanted to post for those looking for a good variety, that this pack has it. Looks to be the correct amount of seeds and certainly cheaper than buying a pack at a time from local brick and mortar stores

Good germination
The germination rate was very good. Seed counts were a little low but good quality. Have purchased 3 times and would buy again

Should come with a warning label...
They should put a “guaranteed to sprout” label on these. Lol! I’m used to planting 10 seeds in one pod and maybe two germinate. With these, however, ALL of them sprouted!! The junk seeds I usually buy at the store are literally junk compared to these seeds. I have been able to grow new things this year because of better quality seeds, at least that’s my opinion. There are things I tried to grow for years—never could even get the seeds to germinate. However, with these new ones (Which are a year old, mind you)...I’m reaping wonderful things. :)
