Even though I don't like bananas (same family as plantains) I saw the reviews mention they're like potato chips. I gave them a try and sure enough, they're like a thick, crunchy potato chip! No banana like flavor at all, only a slightly sweet aftertaste. They're just oily enough to hold powdered flavorings, too. For a sweet crunchy snack, I tossed some in a bowl with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Works great with garlic and onion powders as well!
