An Excellent E reader...
An Excellent E reader Really it's a PRO. Earlier I have remarkable 2. I enjoyed with remarkable 2 for almost one year. A great devise. It's truly a Zero distraction device. After launching the the PAPER PRO model in the outside country I was very much disappointed that is not available in the Indian region. One fine day it appeared in Amazon India for purchase. A great delight for me. Immediately I ordered Paper pro model. After receiving the tab it was with seal , after opening the tab, I got stunned by seeing that. It is an incredible device with additional colours also 11.8 inch , which is absolutely a great upgrade.I really enjoying the colour PDF books with annotation. The marker plus pen is fabulous. Really paper feel writing. We don't expect that equal to ipad. The purpose of the tab is totally different. Also the basic running platform is also different. With their own limitations , I can say one word it is FANTASTIC.. guys just go for it. If you are a book lover , it is absolutely for you. Thanks to Amazon and Seller.

Screen unresponsive
My remarkable paper pro has screen defect in just few months of use . In 8 month use only it has screen defect. Screen was unresponsive in upper 2 inch portions and I don’t know what to do with it. No support from Amazon and don’t know how to get its service from remarkable. My money is totally wasted. Don’t buy this product. Very pathetic.

Quality product
What a product. The writing feels good. No comparison with ipad and other multi functional tabs when it cones to note taking. Both have different target requirements. If you need something for thinking and writing this one is good.

Paper like feel device
I switched from the Ratta Supernote to Remarkable Paper Pro for the only reason that it has a colour display. But when it comes to note taking features the supernote is much superior, it having headings by which u can search text within a note, keynotes and even hyperlinks to open another note within a note. The remarkable doesn’t have these features, but it is a very good writing device too, the paper like feel is very impressive…iam a person who does a lot of highlighting and with the colours given it’s amazing to work with. Drawing and sketching on the remarkable is a breeze. Also it is very easy to import documents into the remarkable. Overall iam quite satisfied with the purchase

Good potential for further research, but not a finished product yet. A little underwhelmed.
I gave it a review of 3 because even though it has potential, it is not good yet. Pros: 1. Really good writing experience. Feels like paper, like it says. Supports a few colors, so you can draw diagrams in color. 2. Large enough screen to fit any book or paper. 3. E-ink is very light on power consumption. You can read for days non-stop without recharging. Cons: 1. The screen is very dark, it takes a lot of exeternal light to read. It would be pretty good outside in defused daylight, but even daylight coming through the windows feels a bit too dark. 2. Comparing against Amazon Kindle, this is at least 20% darker. So, it would actually absorb over 50% of the incident light, so you need a lot of light to read. 3. PDF rendering is kinda bad compared to the dpi it promises. The characters are not always drawn well enough and look jagged. The PDF rendering in Kindle is way better, just that it's screen is only 7". 4. The backlight is too feeble, don't expect to be able to use the device in darkness. The backlight in my Kindle is great. I don't understand why they would choose to have such feeble backlight, and that too with four levels It actually does not need any levels, the only level I can use is the max level, while using it under a LED bar light. 5. I hate the fact that you cannot export your notes to PDF or image or something like that even with the app. The app is very basic, only lets you organise your documents and read them. The image show comparison against Amazon Kindle.

A Premium Paper-Like Tablet That Redefines Digital Note-Taking
The reMarkable Paper Pro delivers an exceptional writing and reading experience that truly lives up to its reputation as a “paper tablet.” The large 11.8-inch colour display feels natural on the eyes, and the integrated reading light makes it comfortable to use in any environment, day or night. Writing with the included Marker Plus pen is smooth and highly responsive, closely mimicking the feel of pen on paper, which makes note-taking, sketching, and annotating documents genuinely enjoyable. What sets the reMarkable Paper Pro apart is its focus and simplicity. Free from distractions, it’s ideal for professionals, students, and creatives who want to think, read, and write more clearly. The colour display adds real value for highlighting, diagrams, and PDFs, while the premium build quality makes it feel like a serious productivity tool rather than just another tablet. If you’re looking for a refined, purpose-built device that replaces notebooks and paper clutter, this is a standout choice.

A very professional device that is what it is designed for without all the bells and whistles.
The reMarkable Paper Pro is a wonderful device and thus far I am loving using it. I love the size of the device, one of the main reasons I opted for the reMarkable Paper Pro and that it is dedicated for note taking and organising into individual folders, tagging pages, etc. Although you need to download and install an individual app on the computer for reMarkable, it's fairly straight forward, and adding PDF files if you have any eBooks in that format or ePub you can easily drag and drop across. For that, it is pretty decent compatibility with eBooks, just not for many of the other formats, unfortunately, but I'm not overly fussed on that as I use my Kindle Paperwhite for reading use. You'll find that if you use the device on full brightness, it's a pretty decent amount of light, you'd see that in person rather than from videos. However, intensive use that I use it for taking down a lot of notes from videos for my language learning, the battery will go down over the course of a day. I've used it just using a normal light and the backlight of it set to zero and it worked great. I had also done research and you can use the device whilst plugged into the laptop whilst it charges, it doesn't have any effect on the life of the battery. So long as you use it from time to time mostly away from charging to allow the battery to recycle, you're fine. The device for functionality is straightforward; learning to draw straight lines you just draw a line and if you hold it, it'll do it automatically, same for circles. Learning the menus are pretty straightforward, and creating a new notebook, don't confuse it as a page, you can create pages within notebooks, check the three dots menu and you'll find it there. I've found the quality of the screen to be fantastic, the device is very professional looking, I haven't had any issue with the light bleeding as some may have complained, I think it looks fantastic, it's a very textured feeling with writing and drawing anything. Whilst it is not going to be exactly like paper, it's good enough and feels great to write with. The refreshing of the screen happens a lot, but you get used to it. As for the weight of the device, I've found it's fairly light, I haven't had any major issues, it fits nicely alongside my Macbook Pro 16" and is nice and thin, I certainly have no issues regarding weight and is very portable, it just requires the right bag for it. All in all, this device is targeted for note taking and is not for all the bells and whistles of other uses like some of the other devices. I love the size and ability to use colour for highlighting which I do a lot and looks very professional. When connected to the computer you can use the app you download and install to export to PDF which I love. I'm very pleased with the device.

Spendy but Works Well
I debated whether to get this or an iPad. The decision was especially difficult because of the high cost of the ReMarkable Paper Pro and the fact that it has far less functionality than a similarly-priced (or even cheaper) tablet. With the ReMarkable there’s no surfing the Internet, no shopping at Amazon, and no watching movies. This is strictly a tool for taking notes, but that's really all I needed for work. Reviews I read said ReMarkable has the best ‘feel’ when writing among competing tablets, and that led me to choose the ReMarkabke over a different brand (or a tablet). I’ve now been using the Remarkable for about nine months at work. The resistance when writing (the “feel”) is indeed fairly close to writing on paper with a pen. I really like having all of my notes in one place now, separated in different files and folders that I’ve created. It beats having stacks of paper notebooks lying around and unavailable when you need them in a meeting. The ReMarkable has dozens of templates that come preloaded with it, including temples for music, grids, and three different week planners. Apparently, you can buy even more if you can’t find what you need among those that come with the device, but I really only use two: the (medium) lined page and the blank page. The included stylus has a removable tip, since that part will wear out over time and eventually need to be replaced. It comes with a small pack of replacement tips, and more can be purchased from reMarkable when needed. After nine months of moderate use, I'm still getting by with the original stylus tip, but your mileage may vary, depending on how much you use yours and how hard you press down with the stylus. The colors the Paper Pro provides are a nice option, although they're not very vibrant. But they do allow you to add splashes of color to your pages when needed. I mostly just use them for highlighting important notes. I’ve not yet needed to transfer data from the ReMarkable to a computer. I just keep all my notes on the device itself. I’ve also not converted any of my written notes to text yet, which first requires you to set up an account with ReMarkable. An account is needed for this function because it’s a cloud-based service, which means you'll need an Internet connection. Overall, the Paper Pro has filled all my needs well. I only wish I had bought it sooner so I wouldn’t have so many paper notes lying around. If you can get past its steep price, the Paper Pro a nice tool for note taking.
