We use these for behavior modification in the yard - if our dogs are "selectively listening" or are so adrenalized that they simply do not hear...like if someone is walking their dog and ours are barking their heads off (crazy, insane nuisance barking). Distracting them and getting them to do something positive/desireable is always the first step, but if they are displaying bad manners and can't/won't focus, a quick squirt gets their attention. The stream of water is gentle enough that it doesn't hurt, but it does get their attention NOW.

My grandkids love these and use them as often as possible. They are 4 and 6 so I wouldn't order them for anyone younger than that as they are heavy when filled.
