The performance difference is noticeable right away, especially on high-demand tools like grinders, impact wrenches, blowers, and saws where consistent power really matters. What impressed me most is the combination of runtime and reduced weight compared to some larger high-output batteries. It delivers excellent power without making tools feel overly bulky or unbalanced. The battery also runs cooler under heavy load and charges incredibly fast when paired with a compatible rapid charger, which is a huge advantage on busy jobs or long workdays. Build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Milwaukee—solid, durable, and jobsite ready. The battery gauge is easy to read, and overall reliability has been excellent. If you use M18 tools professionally or just want maximum performance from your setup, the FORGE XC8.0 is absolutely worth the investment. It’s quickly become one of my go-to batteries in the rotation. Review: Amazing - For the price. Can't go wrong. It's does act a little different than my other batteries. So if my other batteries are full and you plug it back in to charge it light goes green indicating that it's chargers. This one takes about 10 min to realize it's charges. ## Features - Delivers HIGH OUTPUT 12.0 power in a smaller size and lighter weight - COOL-CYCLE Active Cooling System provides high-speed cooling for less downtime with COOL-CYCLE capable chargers - 35min supercharge to 80% with the M18 Dual Bay Simultaneous Super Charger - Longest life for the most recharges and best performance over the life of the pack - REDLITHIUM FORGE provides the most powerful, fastest charging, and longest life batteries within REDLITHIUM ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DNP27V8N | | Antenna Location | Power Tool | | Battery Capacity | 8 | | Battery Cell Type | Lithium Ion | | Best Sellers Rank | #88,401 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #629 in Rechargeable Household Batteries | | Brand | Milwaukee | | Compatible Phone Models | 18V | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (616) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00045242798001 | | Included Components | Milwaukee Electric - M18 REDLITHIUM FORGE XC8.0 BA | | Item Dimensions | 14.4 x 10.2 x 9.2 centimeters | | Item Type Name | Milwaukee Electric - M18 REDLITHIUM FORGE XC8.0 BATTERY PACK | | Item Weight | 1.12 kg | | Manufacturer | Milwaukee Electric | | Model Name | 48-11-1881 | | Model Number | 48-11-1881 | | Number of Batteries | 1 LR44 batteries required. | | Reusability | Rechargeable | | UPC | 045242798001 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Battery capacity:** 8 - **Battery cell composition:** Lithium Ion - **Brand:** Milwaukee - **Number of batteries:** 1 LR44 batteries required. - **Recommended uses for product:** Power Tool ## Images ![Milwaukee Electric - M18 REDLITHIUM Forge XC8.0 Battery Pack - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51I8qzcotAL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Verified OEM Battery *by S***N on 26 May 2026* The Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM FORGE XC8.0 battery is an absolute powerhouse and easily one of the best upgrades for anyone heavily invested in the M18 platform. This one takes about 10 min to realize it's charges. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These Are The Real Deal *by T***R on 27 June 2026* The Real Deal. Bought 2 and one 12ah Forge (different seller) as well. All real. It’s easy to check. Flawless so far. This is a wild price. Came in retail packaging. I’ve wondered if it’s a minor misprint and Milwaukee dumped them in a non-major market to quietly move them?? No idea, but glad they are here. Super happy with them. My Brother in Law bought 3 and a 12ah Forge as well. All working as expected and pass “the test”. ## Frequently Bought Together - Milwaukee M18 18V Lithium-Ion REDLITHIUM Forge XC 8.0 Ah Battery Pack - Milwaukee 2967-20 M18 Fuel 18V 1/2" High Torque Impact Wrench - Milwaukee 48-11-1852 M18 REDLITHIUM XC 5 Ah Lithium-Ion Extended Capacity Battery (2-Pack) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/719102480-milwaukee-electric-m18-redlithium-forge-xc8-0-battery-pack](https://www.desertcart.be/products/719102480-milwaukee-electric-m18-redlithium-forge-xc8-0-battery-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
