As a seller of this product, we have measured and confirmed the length of each Diamon Strike on Box Kitchen Matches to be 2.25" long. **Q: What else can I use to strike matches on? The strips on the boxes are worn before I run out of matches.** A: You can buy an 8 1/2 x 11 match strike sheet, cut it to size & then peel & apply it onto any surface.
