These are so comfortable!!! I wanted a pair of earbuds that I could fall asleep wearing. I like to listen to audiobooks and sleep sounds through an app on my phone - esp when my brain has a hard time turning off. These are comfortable & stay put & have the added benefit of blocking out a lot of ambient noise! And because the do such a good job blocking out sound, I purchased another pair to take to work as well. So happy with these earbuds!Only downside- I sometimes wake up a bit tangled in the cords, but no big deal and to be expected!

This is an edit to my initial review. I've gone through 2 sets of these, the first lasting only 2 months before the right channel quit working. I thought I must have somehow snapped a wire, and ordered another set. The 2nd lasted 9 months before the right channel quit working, so now I'm back shopping for another set, but definitely from a different manufacturer. Due to their fragility, I can no longer highly recommend these Hibermate ear buds.First ear buds I've been able to sleep on my side with. Hardly notice them, cord is long enough to keep my device securely on bedside table, can barely hear snoring husband, and sound quality good enough to keep those binaural beats rocking me to sleep.I don't move around much when sleeping, so tangling in the cord hasn't been a problem. Should probably buy a couple more pairs to ensure replacement when I inevitably leave these somewhere. Highly recommend!

Before these, I used Maxrock sleeping buds and I really liked those but they would always break. These seem a lot more durable, but they are slightly larger and take some adjustment to get them comfortable when you sleep on your side. I do like that you can change the ear tips. Overall, a pretty good buy, let's hope they last for a while!

I purchased this so that I could listen to white noise and binaural beats to help me sleep. I'm a side sleeper and can only really have silicone in my ears, or will experience an allergic reaction. The tips that are supplied with the headset are slightly oddly shaped, I think for noise cancellation. However, I don't find them to be terribly comfortable or effective at noise cancellation. The sound quality is actually very good, given the fact that they were only about $10. Honestly, you can't beat that. However, after owning them for about 6 weeks, and using them very infrequently, maybe a total of a dozen times, sound no longer plays out of the left earpiece. I know it's not an expensive headset, but I have even cheaper earbuds that have lasted longer.

Hibermate earbuds are for those who find that hard buds just won't stay in, like me. No matter what the shape, they just fall out. Hibermate buds are soft, and so can go in further. I prefer the smallest of the three sizes. My ears are just tight. Moistening the bud a little helps. They have to be put in carefully, so the sound is properly directed, but once done, the sound is as good as, or even better than, that on some over-ear phones I use. And a lot less expensive. They are also useful when you use the Hibermate sleep mask, which I do, which has ear pads to keep out external sounds. With the buds in, volume very low, you can hear your music while you fall asleep. My daughter, who uses regular buds, always has music playing while she's asleep. Overall, I am very pleased with these.

I have tried half a dozen different headphones for sleeping and these have worked the best for me.I am a light sleeper and my nonagenarian mother's hospital style bed is in my bedroom. The assortment of noises and mumbled words she produces are enough to keep me awake. A "white noise" app works well to block out these minor noises for me, but other headbands with speakers, earbuds and headphones just didn't work well with my weird ears and big head. Except for being irresistible to cats these have been both very comfortable and perfect for my needs.

I listen to audio books at night to fall asleep and I've tried many different types of ear buds over the years. These are the most comfortable I've ever used and the only ones that are soft enough and fit well enough, I can move from my back to my side and not have any discomfort. The sound quality is good and I the volume adjustment seems to have good increments so I can adjust based on the reader's voice.

These ear buds are very good for sleeping. They are soft enough so they don't irritate your ear--a problem I had with other earbuds--and the cable is also sturdy enough to put up with some pulling. So, they are really pretty ideal for sleeping. They also provide some passive isolation, though not much, but enough to dampen some noises (such as mild snoring). The sound quality is mediocre at best, but that's probably to be expected with a pair of inexpensive earbuds.

Delivery was excellent. They look very smart but they didn't feel more comfortable than my Sony ear buds.

Stopped working after less than 2 months.

I bought this product to help my GF sleep due to my occasional bouts of snoring. They didn't isolate the sound or cover up my snoring as I thought they would and the silicon tips hurt her ears after wearing them all night. You also need to have background music playing thru them in order to maximize the benefit, but this doesn't work well for all people.
