So far, pretty durable but the arm is a bit shaky, so not necessarily as sturdy as we'd like. Had to find threw best way to install, since the clamp doesn't open big enough to fit our end table.

I bought this to attach to my computer. It will not hold. It keeps falling down. I would not recommend it.

It seems designed well and works exactly as you would imagine. The only catch is that the long stem means the phone tends to wobble on the end of it. Depending on what you're using it for, this may be problematic.

This Magnetic Mobile Phone Mount works as intended and described. The clamp is sufficiently durable and design of twisting to tighten works well. However as it is made of plastic, I'd caution overtightening could potentially cause the plastic clamp to crack. Especially more so if the surface the clamp is being attached to is not evenly flush on both the bottom and the top of the clamp. Moving on to the gooseneck itself, which is quite strong yet flexible, I am impressed with it. With that said, extending the gooseneck completely straight without any balance of weight near the base could result in unstable wavering of any device being attached to it. Don't' get me wrong it works as intended, just be wary of extension length vs stability. Magnetic head at the tip works great, so long as the metal plate counterpart is either A) touching the magnetic pad directly or B)the surface in which is between the plate and magnetic pad is not too smooth. Ergo, I have a hybrid mobile case with silicon interior with a hard shell on the outside. I put a metal plate in between the silicon and hard case and tried attaching to the magnetic pad, it worked, but the contact wasn't strong enough to keep the device from slipping if left alone too long in lieu of the phone case is smooth. Trying again with the plate on the outside of an Amazon Fire HD 8 directly making contact with the magnetic pad, device head just fine. With that said, this item does what is intended to do. Recommendations for next revision could be stronger magnets in the magnetic pad and perhaps reinforcing the clamp design. All that said I'd give this product a 4-star rating for the magnet strength.Product was provided to me by the seller in exchange for an honest unbiased review.
