They’re fun, easy to control, and can go both forward and backward — perfect for racing. I really appreciate that the boats come with rechargeable batteries and a backup, which keeps the fun going longer.That said, there are a couple of downsides. We’ve noticed some water seeping into the battery compartment, which has caused minor corrosion. They still work for now, but we're unsure how much longer they'll last. Also, the remote control isn't waterproof — and with a four-year-old who loves jumping into the pool with it, it's already taken a few dunks. Surprisingly, it still works, but again, durability is a concern.Overall, these are great for some quick poolside fun, but manage your expectations — you’re getting what you pay for.
