A solid performer *by A***M on Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2018* The setup was rather not difficult. Started with connecting the camera to PoE switch. After scanning the bar code in the Quick Start guide with my cell phone, I typed in the link in a browser on my Windows PC, downloaded the software. IPWizard utility had no trouble finding the camera. Used same utility to change the camera's ip address (Equipment network information).By now the only browser I can use to access the camera's Web UI is the Internet Explorer. Failed in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge despite following the instructions. Perhaps I am missing something.The image quality is good. The PTZ functions - since I have never owned a PTZ camera before - I am very impressed with. The auto-focus is fairly quick. When operates - pans or tilts - the camera produces passably low sound.The software I use to manage my cameras had no trouble to detect this one as ONVIF camera. I have not yet tried the Android app suggested to be used with the camera. Windows HCMS app (included in the download) detected the camera. Took a bit of time for me to make it workSo far the main question mark for me is camera's IR functionality. If it is set to Auto, at dark time the camera's IR keeps switching on and off every 3 seconds ("Switch time" setting). This is a significant inconvenience.The other issues:- Need to find a user manual- Need to find a resource where the latest firmware can be downloaded fromUpdated on Oct. 22, 2018: So far I am pleased with the camera. The tech support responded fairly promptly to my requests. All issues I had are resolved now. The camera is finally placed outside where it was planned to be. I connected it to a small PoE router and linked to my network via a power-line plug.Updated on Dec. 10, 2018: on two occasions the camera became unfocused. The only way the focus could be restored was by re-plugging the camera to PoE router. Also the preset positioning is not fully accurate and may depend on where the camera points at - the start position. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Absolute garbage, PLEASE READ *by J***V on Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2018* Once unpacked it was setup time. If you're a Mac user, forget about it, get ready to set up a virtual machine with Windows to configure this thing. If you're not using a standard network configuration (such as 192.168.0.x) also get ready to set up another network to access this camera configuration as it is not set to DHCP by default. An absolute headscratcher. The included instructions are 100% Windows based and are extremely limited.Once you find yourself in the settings, finally, test ALL features first! I made the mistake of spending 3 hours routing cable and putting up the camera (because it worked after all) only to have the camera die on me an hour after I finished. I made the mistake of enabling the microphone and rebooting the camera. It never came back. About an hour refreshing the config page and only twice it let me into the settings far enough where I could click "reset", this did not help. It shows me "NO VIDEO" and if I click anything, the page times out and I can start over again.When it did work, in the short time I played around with it, I noticed the camera's highest point is set at a down angle. Even 10 feet up in the air, you'll be lucky to see the horizon. Pan and Tilt spins the dome but the lens seems loose in the dome and rattles around. This also ensures that any preset you set and pull up, never results in the same camera position. The list of issues is long but I'll keep it at that.Waste of time, waste of cash. I paid $99 for this camera 4 days ago (First week of October 2018) and they already jacked the price to $130! Insane. This is not worth even $10, I promise you. This review will probably get drowned out at some point so I hope it reaches potential buyers. If you do purchase... good luck! Buy any other model other than this one. *by J***T on Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2020* Not worth the time or effort. I’m a network admin and have a ton of Onvif generic and Amcrest and Hikvision and XMEye models as well as some older POE and even some a analog cameras here and this is the only one that burned 4 hours of my time. My NVR picked it up after using the sketchiest public IP to download the IP config tool. Yeah have to use their tool to change the default Ip 192.168.0.200 because even a static IP on the network subnet these ship from did jack squat. Also had to factory reset the unit when it’s own app displayed only black video fresh out of box. After the reset at least the leftek video app showed video on the screen, ans the IE version with the activex plugin seemed to work. Now my NVR saw it as an Onvif camera but would not connect. After beating on trying different ports and protocols I was able to get the video working to my NVR but not the pan and tilt. I tried every setting on the camera even thought this NVR pans and zooms and tilts 3 other generic unbranded cameras just fine over the network. I finally tried pan and tilt from the bootleg Leftek app and realized it was inverted there (left is right) and the zoom and focus and iris did nothing at all from their own app. Maybe mine was bad from the factory?
