Biodegradable Toothbrush, Family Pack of 4 All Natural Bamboo Handle & All Natural Bristles - No Plastic Or Nylon - All Natural Boar Hair (Natural)

I had my doubts but decided to try these, and I've liked them even more than the bamboo/boar bristle brushes I was using before. The bristles (provided they ARE boar hair) are indeed soft and gentle on my gums, and my orthodontist stopped commenting on them being red and swollen after I started using them. The handle has a nice feel and the brush head fits in my small mouth so that I can reach all of the nooks and crannies without jamming it between my teeth and gums. I've subtracted one star because it seems the manufacturer (or Amazon) needs to get its act together in regard to the TWO DIFFERENT products it sells, which I only discovered recently. The other one is here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MZD736S/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza but for some reason the questions/reviews for the two products have gotten mixed up so that it's hard to tell what these are made of. Even the packaging is confusing - my 4-pack arrived in a box marked "Natural Boar Bristle", which was fine, but the inner boxes read "vegan" and "soft charcoal bristles", and the bristles on the toothbrushes I received are not black. I'm pretty sure I received what I wanted but there seems to be some issues with packaging/labeling, as well as with product knowledge on the part of Tranquilo customer service. If they can get these kinks ironed out then they'll have a nice little operation and I'll continue to order this superior product.

This pack of 4 toothbrushes was inconsistent in bristle quality. After my husband used one of these toothbrushes for a week or two, the bristles frayed badly and were ineffective thereafter. I had similar experiences with the rest of the toothbrushes from this pack, and the bristles were not strong enough to give my teeth a good clean. I wanted to like these toothbrushes as they are 100% compostable but unfortunately will not be buying from this brand again.

For years I looked for a toothbrush that was totally natural and I thought I'd found it with this product. Unfortunately, the size of this toothbrush is for KIDS! That's right, it's perfect for someone about 9 years old. It's roughly half the size of the previous one I had been using. This includes the handle and brush head. Buy these for your kids but NOT yourself.

The product description is misleading - the bristles are some sort of plastic designed to look like natural boar hair. In actuality, when you look closely at the ends the tips are blunt, not tapered, which indicates they’re plastic. Also, when burned, the bristles melt and curl rather than turning into ash, also an indicator that they’re plastic. I purchased these because they’re advertised as plastic free, and was disappointed in the deceptive marketing.However, as a tooth brush it works fine. The bristles fall out pretty easily but they’re soft and clean well. The product does well reducing plastic waste but not eliminating it. Just keep that in mind when recycling.

Really wanted to like it --- wanting to save the planet in small ways and all --- but the bristles bent considerably after the first go around. Then, after continued usage, the head was so splayed out that it cut gums more than it brushed teeth. If you're going to go the environmentally friendly route, get bristles made of a different material. Strongly recommend against buying.

Really wanted these toothbrushes to work. I've only used one so far, so I'm hoping maybe it is just a fluke. From the first time I used it the bristles immediately broke as if I'd used it to scrub against something for months. It only works for one time use, and hardly that because it lost its stiffness instantly

Arrived quickly. Great product. My reason for one less star is that the bristles slowly fall out. Perhaps this is user error (I tend to nibble my toothbrush) I am so content with a biodegradable toothbrush that I will get used to it. Or stop chewing on it.

This product is not useful. While the natural wood handle is ok but the bristles are way, way too coarse for healthy gums. They need a version that uses softer bristles comparable to soft or ultra soft toothbrushes. Useless. I got it as a gift but will return it. The bristles are so stiff it wasn’t even worth trying it.

What can i say? They are a comfortable, soft quality toothbrush without the guilt of dumping plastic into ground fills. I purchased an initial box (comes with 4 toothbrushes) and they will cover a year. I went a head and bought a second box for the following year. They are soft to me and if you wet them (run under a tap) before use they become softer. Well made bristles, easy to handle for all finger sizes - buy them. You will not regret it!
