It’s all in the Application - I purchased this screen protector a few weeks ago and it seems to be working fine, no peeling of corners and after about two weeks, the screen protector should not do so in the future. My previous Harmony One remote was 10 years old and wanted the added functionality of the Harmony Elite remote. The previous remote did not have a screen protector and had lots of fine scratches on the screen from wear and wanted to avoid that with the new remote with this screen protector. I have applied many glass screen protectors on phones and tablets and one film/vinyl screen protector to an old ipad2 back in 2012 with no real issues. This small screen protector will protect the remote from dings and knicks from drops/use. Being the first film-liquid application in many years, it was a toss up to how it would go but there are 2 screen protectors and so I could screw up once. Take time to watch similar liquid film applications with phones on YouTube for tequniques used by others it helps a ton. Application: Latex gloves is a must during the application to avoid fingerprints and the application took place in a steamy bathroom. The cutout for the off button is fine and the screen protector covers the screen of the remote well. The curved corners of the top of the remote could be a problem in the future as they could peel up. Clean the remote screen very well with alcohol and do some test alignments before peeling the backing. Peel the screen protector off its packing and it will want to curl up on itself immediately. Wet fingers fingers with the soapy water and wet the screen protector and the screen of the remote and apply the screen protector to the remote. There was a little time to make some minor alignment adjustments to the positioning of the screen protector on the remote before starting squeegeeing the water being careful not to use too much pressure because it will mess up the positioning of the screen protector. After the squeegee step, press the top of the remote to the palm of your hand as the directions state, to make sure the top curved corners were good and stuck in place. There was some cloudiness right after but just let it sit overnight and in the morning it should clear up. After, there were no major bubbles and only one small spec of dust that got trapped on the lower edge of the screen protector and it was not noticeable unless held it to the light. There were also a few very small bubbles around the power cutout but after a few days, those bubbles disappeared and the screen protector sucked down to the point were it very very hard to see the spec of dust. Overall, I am happy with the application. It's just a remote screen protector... Final Thoughts: This product didn't have many reviews and I thought I would give this screen protector a try. The main purpose is to provide scratch protection from minor drops, table flips and such. From what I have experienced, this will provide good protection and should stay in place (not peel up) for a long time. I was on vacation with my boyfriend so I left it on to make sure it wouldn't get scratched in the suitcase, but the plan was to remove it as soon as I get home because a couple of bubbles I couldn't get rid of. As it turns out, air pressure during flight got rid of the remaining bubbles and now I have what I payed for so I'm not planning on removing it. I don't know what the bottom line would be. Super touchy, is hard to program, very confusing between programming the app on your phone, the remote, and your computer. Toooo much headache, tried to get used to it and like it for months, now its too late to return. Pricey bad buy.
