For consistent trends, measure barefoot at the same time each day under similar physical conditions. **Q: Why does the scale show weight only?** A: Complete your profile and add the scale in the FITINDEX App. Measure barefoot with dry feet, hold the handle correctly, contact all 8 electrodes, and remain still until completion. **Q: How do I connect or sync the scale?** A: Enable Bluetooth and Location permission for Android. Add the scale inside the FITINDEX App, not in your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Keep the phone nearby and step on the scale to activate it. **Q: What if the scale will not turn on or reset to zero?** A: Replace all 3 AAA batteries together and close the battery cover securely. Return the handle to the scale, reinstall the batteries, and wait for zero on a hard, flat floor. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Motivator *by on Reviewed in the United States 14 October 2024* I bought this scale because I went on a health kick. Initially the weight was flying off me with the lifestyle changes I was making. Eventually that slowed down a bit and my journey didn’t seem as “exciting”. I was still doing the right things but the progress wasn’t as dramatic as when I first started. So I picked up this scale and started weighing myself pretty much daily. After a few months, while my weight was no longer dropping as quick, I could see on the graphs provided by this scale that I was indeed making big strides in other categories like muscle mass, and fat loss. Not sure how totally accurate the measurements are but by watching the graphs over a good period of time, I can see them all moving in the right direction. My motivation is back baby! Just purchased another one for my sister. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great scale *by on Reviewed in the United States 18 June 2026* Great scale. Requires app on phone for best use. Very comprehensive readings. ### ⭐ Does NOT measure CHANGES in body composition. This uses a PREDICTION MODEL based on your first scan. *by on Reviewed in the United States 24 November 2025* Ignore all these rave reviews, people have no idea what's wrong here. If you keep your body at the same weight and composition (muscle/fat ratios, etc.), this will work for you. If you are trying to see progress in positive changes you are making, do NOT bother with this scale, it will NOT show actual changes in body composition. Ever. This uses a machine-learning prediction model instead of raw BIA scans. It uses the INTIAL impedance scan of your body and simply changes all of the metrics based on changes in your weight. It does NOT do a fresh, ACTUAL scan of your body. So, if you were on an aggressive weight-training program for 6 months and ACTUALLY changed your muscle/fat ratios, this piece of junk will never indicate any change in those stats. Ever.If you were 192.3 pounds on the day you created your profile and you were obese and out of shape, then completely changed your body to high muscle/low fat but happened to weigh 192.3 at that point, the metrics Fitindex would show would be IDENTICAL to the original ones. EXACTLY the same. ALL metrics. You need to find a scale that does a fresh multi-path impedance reading each session. This model is worthless (unless your body comp never changes). ## Frequently Bought Together - FITINDEX Body Composition Scale for Body Weight, Smart 8-Electrodes with BMI, Body Fat, Muscle Mass, 50 Composition Measurements, Bluetooth, FSA or HSA Eligible - FITINDEX Body Measuring Tape, Accurate Bluetooth Measuring Tape for Body Measurements, Smart Body Tape Measure Retractable with 12 Body Parts Measure for Weight Loss Fitness Muscle Gain, Sync with APP - Etekcity Smart Food Kitchen Scale with Nutritional Calculator, Free App with 19 Nutrients Tracking, Calorie, Marco, Digital grams and ounces for weight loss, Premium Stainless Steel, 11lb --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/717798904-fitindex-body-composition-scale-8-electrode-smart-body-fat-scale](https://www.desertcart.be/products/717798904-fitindex-body-composition-scale-8-electrode-smart-body-fat-scale) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
