This is a slick little light. It clips to your shirt pocket without weighing it down, like those old Maglites did. It tosses out some light as well. Click the button once, you get a spot light out of the end of the pen. A second click gets you a floodlight from the side. A third gives you the same light, but at less intensity. One long click gets you the UV light, just in case you want to check your shoes for scorpions before you stuff your toes in there. (scorpions glow in UV light, they do!)There's a magnet on the bottom that's strong enough to hold the pen on any metal surface at a 90 degree angle, so that you can free up your hands for more important things. Really, you couldn't ask more from a pen light.If you need a multipurpose light that fits in your pocket, ,this will do the job.

This is a nice little pen light. It's sufficiently bright especially for the size. There's a light on the front and the side. The front light has one brightness setting. The side light has two brightness settings. There's also a purple uv mode (pictured). This will be great for working on cars or just as an EDC light for a backpack pocket or purse, there are two magnets, one on the end and one on the pocket clip. They are both strong. For what you would use a light like this for, this pen light is awesome. Once it is left on a mode for a couple seconds the next click of the power button turns it off so you don't have to cycle through all of the different options to turn off the light. I've used it a medium amount and have not had to charge it yet. I can't totally comment on battery life but it seems pretty good. Is it worth $40? That's kind of hard to say. I have a lot of small lights that are very functional that cost less than $40. One other thing I don't like about this light is that the side light, when left in high, will start blinking after about 30 seconds of use. I wondered if it had something to do with a low battery so I plugged it in and tried it while it was charging. It still started blinking but it didn't seem like it was blinking as fast, and it started and stopped blinking a few times. I'll update this post again after fully charging.

Wow, this is a really handy thick pen sized rechargeable flashlight! It charges from a USB-C plug and has a nice bright end spot light and bright side flood light with a simple push button side switch. I like that it has both an end and side magnet which is great for quick automotive lighting. It is triangular shaped with rounded edges and flat sides for directional aiming of the flood light, so it won't roll off a surface either. It also has a shirt clip like a pen where the side magnet is located. There are so many times I'm working on a car and need extra light, it will be great to have this in my chest pocket to grab immediately!

I love this little multipurpose light! It’s lightweight, clips to my pocket, and has a magnet, so it sticks to the top of my workbench as well. As someone who surveys boats, I need a bright light for inside engine rooms and in dark crevices. This light is extremely bright and small, making it perfect for working in tight spaces. It also works to see that paint and body work has been re-touched.Great little light!!

This little thing really shines a bright light that spreads pretty far away! The magnet on the light is also super strong and pulls from a decent distance.The size is perfect to carry around in a purse, book bag, tool-belt or jean pockets! Great light to have under the sink or in a car glove box for emergencies or everyday use!

This light works, but has some odd design choices.First, the light is on the same the as the pen clip, this keeps the lens exposed when stored in a pocket. This light is amazing, hands down. It's insanely bright while being ultra compact. Both light sources have a crazy output considering it's size. The overall feel is very high quality, you can simply tell that this is a top product. There are two magnets which both support the weight of the lamp easily and they mount in such ways that you can work conveniently and see pretty much everything. NextLED is really the next generation LED!

Was very surprised by just how bright it was for such a small light. The top pen light is pretty good but the side bar light is exceptionally bright and the magnets are a great addition, would definitely recommend.
