Great for mystery-themed Christmas tree
I bought this to decorate my Christmas tree for my mystery book club -- it's not easy trying to find mystery/detective themed decorations! It is perfect for my purpose, and I'm pleased with my purchase. I was shocked by the high quality plastic from which this is made. I had expected something very flimsy, but it is actually very well made of sturdy plastic, extremely well joined, and nicely finished. It is full size and remarkably like the real thing. One reviewer complained of a logo on the back that spoiled the look. Mine had NO logo or writing of any kind. There's not even a "made in China" mark on it. It's just a well-made pipe. In fact, it's so well made that it could fool the eye at first glance. The cream-colored bowl of the pipe is a very good facsimile of ivory. This pipe really is lovely, and I'm so pleased. Now if I can just figure out a way to attach it as a tree-topper, I'll be a happy camper!

Perfect, My Dear Watson! Quite Splendid!
This pipe was perfect. It was exactly what I both expected and wanted. There were some reviews saying there is writing on the side, but there wasn't any on mine, not even 'MADE IN CHINA'! The pipe splits in two part where the black stem/mouth-piece ends for easy disassembly, and the pipe isn't even hollow. It would work perfect for any Holmes outfit, and I love mine. Plus, for such a low price, if you're dissatisfied with yours, you're not out much.

Perfect addition to my Sherlock Holmes party.
This pipe is really well made and sturdy. It was much heavier than I was expecting, and it was solid all the way through. It was the perfect addition to my Sherlock Holmes themed party.

Great Prop
I used it in a video on Sherlock Holmes and it worked perfectly. It can not be used as an actual pipe but I didn't want to use it as such, so I was perfectly happy with it.
