I ordered this replacement Samsung Smart TV remote for my Frame TV. My original remote started sending a message to my TV that it needed re-charging constantly after less than a year of ownership. I actually like the feel of this replacement remote over the original. This remote is more ergonomically correct to use. The remote that came with my Frame TV was so small and lightweight that I could control it more precisely if I used two hands which was quite annoying. I don't really understand why Samsung made a remote that would self-charge with light? or Solar charge? Mine wouldn't hold a charge no matter what I tried. With this replacement I can put in new batteries and be done with it. The only Two things I wish the replacement remote had would be a "YouTube" button as the original remote did (I'm adjusting!) and I wish it were easier to open for replacing the batteries (I had to use a knife to get it to slide open). I have a "Deco" frame on my TV and there was no issue with the remote pairing and working fine. It was a simple process. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase!

The one on the left is the new one just ordered. The one on the right is the original remote that came with the Samsung TV. The one in the middle is what I ordered about a year ago. So the original remote started to not function properly and several buttons would work after pressing them several times. So I purchased the one in the middle. This one required pressing the play button and return button at the same time to sync with the tv. I had to sync the remote several times at random but synced fast. Just recently this remote started not functioning properly, just like the original remote. The up, left, right, volume buttons would require pressing repeatedly to get a response from them. This new remote works like a dream. I didn’t need to sync this remote. Put batteries in it and worked right away. I love having the numbers. It feels very light, lighter than the similar remote for my other Samsung tv. I would definitely recommend this remote even if your original remote works.

Needed a replacement remote for my LG tv and was contemplating getting a OEM remote but the majority of ones I looked at were double the price and had shipping fees, so I took a chance on ordering this remote. Although its a knock-off or non brand it works the same so far. You can definitely tell the difference between the weight of this versus a oem remote. These feel lighter. Also the button response is not exactly the same but overall not a bad deal. All the buttons seems to work the same as a oem remote so far and the remote looks the same as well, so I'd say it was worth it so far. If anything changes, I'll be sure to send an update.

I bought this remote because of advice from a YouTube video. After I bought a new Samsung TV, I watched videos on how to use it and its capabilities. The host recommended this remote control because it is easier to understand and larger than the original. He’s right! In my pictures, I put this remote between my Dish remote and the TVs original. This shows the relative size difference. I’ve only had the remote for about 30 hours and the TV for about 60 hours. I’ve already given up on the original “smart”, solar powered, too small for my hand, original Samsung remote. That’s only a microphone for me to use for the TVs voice control or search engine that I’ll probably never use. If you have, or if you’re looking to buy a less than 4 year old Samsung smart TV, I recommend you get this remote too. No programming needed, just insert two AAA batteries and it’s ready. Edit, 13 months later: I’m needing to replace this remote because my now 7 month old puppy has finally destroyed it. She has also destroyed the original remote, so I’ve ordered two more of these. It’d be a good idea, because of the low price, to get two of these and keep one in a safe place your dog won’t find. Especially if you have a puppy. This remote did work fine until she got her teeth into the buttons. She had already scratched it, but it was still working. I just received the new remotes and they both work perfectly for me. I put one back into the bubble wrap and I’m going to hide it from her. It’s just an insurance thing so I’m never without a remote for this tv again. If or when she destroys the one I use, I’ll use the other and buy another insurance policy one. I use about seven different remotes for my different devices. Some are too outdated to replace with new ones. Those remotes stay hidden. I don’t like the idea of one remote control for everything or more than one device. I like to use each device’s original remote. That’s until I bought my Samsung tv last year. I couldn’t stand the original solar powered remote it came with. I only used it when I had to. I might be old fashioned but I don’t like voice control for searching. I don’t miss that at all. Buy this remote control for your 2019-2024 Samsung tv. It’s practically identical to the ones offered before the solar powered one came along. Great price for a good remote. I only wish it was built with stronger materials and was more puppy proof. Edit 2: Just 2 days after getting the new ones, she chewed buttons out of the one I was using. I can’t find it and now I’m going to have to use the insurance one and buy more insurance. It’s not the remote’s fault that my new puppy likes the taste of this thing and has new sharp teeth. I bought two of them again today so I don’t lose advantage of the current 34% discounted price. I’m more worried about my dog chewing on the batteries than having to buy another replacement. The first time I bought this, I had a dog that was 13 years old with no teeth. It never occurred to me that my next dog would be destroying my tv remote control. This is even more evidence of the necessity to get more than one of these remotes if you have a new dog or a puppy that doesn’t know any better. I’m just praying that she didn’t get into the batteries of the one I can’t find.

My Samsung surround sound remote got wet and stopped working. I ordered this remote and it came in today on time. I put batteries in it and it worked just fine. No syncing, no codes, nothing. I highly advise this remote for Samsung sound bar model that I have. Thank you.

Works well, not exactly the same as the original remote that comes with the TV, so it takes a minute to adjust to it working slightly differently. It works more like a universal remote. Other than that, it's fine.

I purchased this TV remote from Amazon for Rs. 2,000 on 3rd August 2023, and now I am extremely disappointed. The battery compartment is corroded and damaged, rendering the remote completely unusable even though it's only not even a year old. It’s clear that no proper quality check was done. I’ve attached a photo to show the extent of the damage. This experience has been very frustrating, and I am now seeking a refund or replacement. I would not recommend this product based on my experience

It’s smaller and neater than the one it replaces. It works all I need it to work. The buttons are clearly marked. It was reasonably priced. Much cheaper than an exact replacement. I’m happy with my purchase.
