After failing with other bun products, I returned to the one that I remember from well over a decade ago. It didn't disappoint. Easy to use and actually does what it's supposed to. No trying to navigate my daughter's super thick hair through a tiny gash in a band like other products. Also rolls perfecty with a simple s nap rather than having to be forced into shaped(crookedly).

Is it just me or have these things gotten cheaper since they first came out? Anyway, it still does it's job nicely, and is the only way I would wear my hair in a bun. Unfortunately, my hair has finally reached a length where it is impractical to try to use this thing myself; I can only have someone else put it on for me. My hair reaches my pelvis.

Not as good as original.
I have purchased two of these previously, and I love them. However, the quality of the newer ones does not appear to be as good. The velvet covering is a bit loose, and the construction seems a bit cheaper. It does the job, but I do not anticipate it lasting very long.

Didnt work on child's long thin hair
I used this a million years ago, so I'm familiar with how to use it. I was reminded that this existed now that my daughter is on a dance team, and I've heard how great this is from other dance moms, but this just didn't work for us. Maybe it's because their daughters have long thick curly or wavy hair? My daughter has long silky fine hair, and it always slides right out. This still works in my own hair (long coarse wavy hair), but on my daughter it makes the perfect bun- which then slides a few inches away from her head and stays there. It seems her hair isn't grippy enough to keep it in place. The thing is harder to use than I remember too, and attacks my hands while I'm trying to position it (I have to roll it slowly, because her hair is so thin, and I find that the longer you hold it in your hands the more it tries to snap closed at you). I wish they made a version of this with a silicone strip running down the sides like some modern hairbands have.

👌🏻
I love this product, I have used it for the last 18 years! It makes putting my hair up quick and easy! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to put up their hair to look nice and save time. If your hair is shorter than your shoulders, it may not be easy to use.

It is a little confusing at first but with a little practice it is easy to use
a lil big for my current hair length lol, but once my hair gets a bit longer it will definitely work well. It is a little confusing at first but with a little practice it is easy to use!
