TORRAS Liquid Silicone Case, Stand for iPhone 16 Pro Case, Obsidian Black

absolutely love this phone case! The Bliss Pink color is beautiful and looks even better in person. It feels smooth and comfortable to hold while still providing a good amount of protection without making my phone feel bulky. The magnetic stand is one of my favorite features. It’s so convenient for watching videos, taking calls, or setting my phone up hands-free. The MagSafe connection is strong and works great with my accessories. The case feels very well made, the buttons are easy to use, and it fits my iPhone 17 Pro Max perfectly. It’s cute, functional, and protective—exactly what I wanted in a phone case. Definitely recommend!

Buckle up, or buckle in, this review is about to take you for a ride. Let’s start with how quickly this thing arrived, as always, kudos to companies that take the time to work within Amazon to deliver fast. I got this next day. Love that, thank you. Well, after it arrived, I was left waiting for the main piece, the iPhone 17 Pro Max. So I unboxed it in excitement. I got this case on September 16th and immediately tried using my iPhone 16 Pro Max to test the size and to see how much different the new iPhone 17 Pro Max felt - let’s just say the case is definitely designed for the new iPhone. The feel of the Torras Ostand Q3 Silicone case - give me a second my fingers need to catch a rest after typing that - is amazing. At first, I wasn’t sure how to feel, but this case easily reminds me of the silicone case that Apple makes with the only difference being reliability. I have no issues feeling like I can drop this case and it would protect my iPhone 17 Pro Max well. First, the silicone feels sturdy and it is very thick while still remaining comfortable to hold. The design is beautiful and snugly holds the iPhone. I love the way inside of the case feels, again this gives me strong confidence is it being able to protect my phone as well as keep it looking good well into the next year. This case has that nice suede-like material that you are used to seeing in high-end cases and this plays in that same arena. Now I will say, at first the case feels very much like silicone - meaning that it feels slippery. I wanted to dock it some points when I first received it because of that but I decided to actually test it once my phone arrived. Let me tell you, as you use the case, you start to develop some, uhh, I guess it would be patina? I could be saying that wrong, but as I use it, that feeling of the case being very slippery is slowly changing into something that as it wears feels better. I don’t know how to describe it. Lastly, the stand. Wow. It is really thin, I mean it feels like it could break, and trust me I’ve tried putting a little bit of pressure on it and I’ve been surprised. No matter the angle, or position I try it in, it keeps my phone up. I’m very happy with this overall. From how it is packaged, to how easy it is to put into the phone, to the stand and the magnetic features it has as well. I think this case is a home run, specially in this amazing dune color!

I just switched from the 16 pro max to the 16 pro after deciding that I needed a smaller phone. Obviously this meant I also needed a new case and I wanted something nice by also protective and functional. I bought this particular Torras case on a whim and it has been my favorite 16 pro case so far. Appearance wise, this one looks really nice. It's slim and really soft to the touch. I got the light blue version, but it is more gray/white with just a hint of blue. The interior of the case has a microfiber lining, something I prefer to have so that the phone is protected. The buttons are metal, another plus in my book. Camera control button works great, with no issues or lag. It feels similar to the Spigen version of the camera control button but has a light metal ring around it. I've had no issues activating the camera with it. The metal ring on the back is sturdy and VERY useful. It can prop the phone up in either landscape or portrait mode and the phone stays up with no issue. The ring also does not interfere with MagSafe accessories; I can still use all my MagSafe accessories. At the bottom of the phone the speaker cutouts are accurate and there is also a small lanyard attachment point on the bottom left side of the case. I love lanyards and really appreciate it when case manufactures add an attachment point. The cutouts for the speakers and charging cable are adequate. This case offers a good amount of protection with really soft, attractive finish. I find that this case still slides in and out of pockets and bags easily, but feel so much nicer in the hand when compared to other materials. I've only had this for a couple of days so can't speak to durability, but I will say that I've had a few Torras cases now and they all hold up well. They are reasonably priced so I usually find one I like a buy a couple of them. Props to Torras for creating such a nice case!

So I’ve had the Ostand Q3 silicone case for the last three weeks and I’ve handled it, and tried it out using my iPhone 14 ProMax (as the 17 and 14 are close in size), and these are my findings. I like that Torras' retained the use of embedded buttons to help prevent entry points for dust (although I miss being able to pick and choose optional color buttons). I like the feel/texture of the case. It’s a little slippery, but otherwise feels good in my hands. My worry is that over time it might become tacky like some plastics can get and then it becomes sticky leaving residue on your fingers. I have a TV remote control like that. [I have been assured by Torras support since I posted this that that "tacky/sticky" problem won't happen [see next], "We added a nano-coating to the surface: this not only extends the life of the liquid silicone but also keeps the texture smooth (and makes wiping off dirt or fingerprints super easy). And don’t worry about it getting sticky over time—we’ve upgraded our manufacturing process with high-quality liquid silicone. While some plastics or low-grade silicones do turn sticky, our material prevents that, so it’ll stay comfortable to hold for months." I was able to fit my iPhone in the case however as the iPhone 14 Pro Max is slightly smaller than an iPhone 17 Pro Max, it’s not a snug fit. But it’s not terribly loose either [I don't plan on using it full time with my 14 Pro, it was just for testing purposes]. Button response (volume and power) are responsive (even with the phone being my 14 Pro Max) was very good. I like the O-ring stand it’s stiff, which is good. I put the stand in a position and the phone retains that angle over time. It doesn’t slip down or fall down, it holds its position. I suggested to the support team they should make note for people that the O ring can only fully go flush with the phone in one direction or the other when you open it up or extend it. That was the only thing I noticed I was like “ok this won’t go that direction", but I get it, it has to be the way that it is because otherwise the stand won’t stay as a stand” and the phone will fall down flat. Think about it like a soda can tab, you pull it up and out and it goes to this like 90° or whatever angle and then it doesn’t go any further. Don’t force it you’ll break it. It’s a good opening for the camera lenses I guess, that being said none of my lenses were blocked so I was able to take pictures with it on, and they were somewhat protected (again because I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max the camera arrangement is different than that of the iPhone 17 Pro Max). I like the fact that the branding is subtle and it’s not overly large (I like that, actually quite a lot). It’s in a good location in my opinion, and I imagine that based on designers input they situated as such so you can still read it to showcase whose brand case it is especially when you have the stand holding the phone up for reading or angled for watching videos. I did note though that the magnet inside the case is not as strong with the heavier weighted 14 Pro Max in securing it to a magnetic surface (i.e. my cabinet door) as seen in the video. You can see that the case and phone slide down the surface of the door which is not a good thing. Now it’s possible that it might work better with the 17 Pro Max (and stay in one place) as that has an aluminum body versus a steel body, but I don’t know, I don’t have one to test with.. Overall I like the case, I wish I could have gotten one in black, but I get making it the color it is goes with Apples decision to make a dark blue iPhone Pro Max. I was curious as to the hierarchy of cases between this one and the one with the “air cushion corners” as that seems like it might be more desirable to buyers as it’s got some parts that are clear, and seems to be more rugged to deal with drops (I didn't test my phone and the Torras case in that way as I was sure my phone would pop out).

The silicone finish is smooth yet grippy, making it comfortable to hold without worrying about slips. It fits the phone perfectly like a glove, with precise cutouts and responsive button covers. What really stands out is the sleek, minimal design combined with solid protection. It absorbs shocks well and keeps the phone safe without adding bulk. Plus, it just *looks* clean and stylish. I bought this case almost 3 months ago with a slight fear that this case will get extremely dirty and destroyed within a month but loved the light blue color. To my surprised, case has stayed the same color till now and had no stain no matter the jeans or places i had placed this case! What would be a 5 star case became 3.5 because the case eventually started having a weird peel. It didn’t come into contact with anything sharp. It protected my phone well from drops but I never dropped it often. The case also got extremely grippy for my usage aka putting it in and out of my pocket (could be great for some). Regardless the peeling, it’s still very usable. ** 5 stars for customer service. I went through their website for warranty. No questions asked, super fast reply even during the holiday season. They even sent out a replacement on Christmas! Which i didnt need it that fast but they did their due diligence to make sure I get a satisfied product asap. Tl:dr if you’re looking for a nice silicone case that doesn’t stain and has great quality + amazing stand, this is great. Peeling MAY occur but doesn’t peel like the Apple cases. If you’re not satisfied, customer service will take care of you :)

I researched a lot of cases and went with this one and have no regrets. I love the color, look feel and especially the stand capability.

Ok so - this is my day to day driver for my iPhone 17 Pro Max. I was very hesitant to see if this would last, but it absolutely has lasted. It does have a bit of a tear on the bottom right (dropped it coming out of the car a few months back), and the ring stand isn't as perfect into the back as it was when I got it. That said, this is HANDS DOWN the best case I have had for my phone since I got it. My favorite thing is how "grippy" it is. Because it is silicone, you don't feel like you're going to drop it as much as you would if it was a slippery case. The ring stand can be used in BOTH portrait and landscape so that's amazing! It does add some heft to the phone (in terms of width) so be prepared for that. I use it with a Pop Socket and it is perfect! Enjoy!
