The better solution is, you don't need to order 10 packs all with Hub. Depending on how much square feet and how many rooms you have. We have one customer who has a motel with 2 buildings and 60 rooms, the building is two stories building, he only ordered 4 packs with Hub and 15 packs which are 3 door sensors without Hub. You may only need a couple of Hubs and 100 or more sensors in your motel. This will simplify the installation and save costs too. Since the Hub needs to connect to the internet through Ethernet cable or WiFi. Thank you!

Q: Will the sensors work on windows?

Yes, assuming you have the space to set the sensor on both the window and the window frame (I assume most windows do), there is no reason why it wouldn't work on a window. The stationary side of the sensor is a little less than half an inch wide. I have found that the sensor works even with a substantial gap of an inch or more between the two sides of the senor. I have one on my mailbox too. You can put it on anything that opens and closes assuming you have space to set the sensor.
