I'm using two of these to double check the consistency and accuracy of the temperature and humidity inside my digital egg incubators.I've been very pleased with the results. First, they have stayed within 1 degree Celsius and 2% humidity of the values shown on the incubator readout. This has been very reassuring, when fertile eggs are dependent on staying within a fairly narrow range.Second, their 24-hour monitoring of high and low values is extremely useful, in that it gives me additional information about my incubator settings. Based on this information I was able to see that it would be safe to lower the temperature setting, which was set slightly higher than necessary in fear of chilled eggs. Now that I know my incubator keeps a steady temperature, I was able to lower it a few tenths of a degree closer to the ideal.I really really like these gauges.The only thing I didn't like about them was that they require 2 AAA batteries, which are NOT included.Still, they work well enough that I've given them 5 stars and am ordering two more.

My husband is using this in his humidor but it would work well in any room of the house. I put it next to an expensive weather gauge to compare and it read tic for tac. I like the small, compact size, but it's large print on the dial, so easy to read. The price is good and it's a great choice for anyone wanting to monitor humidity levels and temperature.

This seems to be working. The temperature anyways is always on with other modes of measuring. The humidity measure has been set at 16% in the bedroom for weeks, despite having a humidifier running half the day. That doesn't seem correct to me. I did move it to another room and it changed to 19%, so maybe it is my humidifier?? Anyways, I still like it, I just hope it is working. I do really like the function that tells you the range over the past 24 hours.

The temp. gauge works very well so far. I have the temperature gauge in the kitchen and is off by 1/2 of one degree when I compare the temperature of the thermostat in the living room, which is about 18 feet away and so far very good. However, I would like to see a touch screen or a button on the top of the gauge to light up the display for about 6 or 7 seconds to make it easier to read in dim lighting conditions. Over all I'm pleased with this purchase.

I tested these in an airtight environment with 62% RH (Relative Humidity) packs inside. If your not familiar with these little packs, they take any sealed/airtight environment & bring everything in it to the percent of the pack you buy. They are very effective & should have left them both reading 62% RH but instead they had two different readings & none of which was the actual humidity at 62%. The paper hanging inside is an indicator also showing that it is 62% inside because it changes from pink to blue when the packs are no longer holding the RH so you can change them & they are reading that everything is fine & the packs are brand new & I used two 8 gram packs which is way more then needed to hold an RH in such a small container.
