Not what I wanted but it worked really well

So my motherboard has built-in audio. I use a 2.1 sound bar with my PC, and the audio has always REALLY annoyed me, there's been a slight buzz in the background since day one.Bought a dedicated PCIe card (for £46) and it was crap.Decided to chuck a few quid on this to see how it fared, and oh my lord, the optical out (the only reason I bought it) is giving outstanding results. Music, Netflix, and Prime audio... perfect. Even the system sounds have been to the gym.To clarify, I have not used the 3.5 sockets or TOSlink input as of yet.MAKE SURE you install the drivers on the included disc. Win10 installs basic audio drivers.

The delivery was fast. I bought this to listen to some old tapes from years ago but it doesn’t work. Apparently it says you need a power cord, (I’ve already put batteries in) but it doesn’t come with one, so I can’t play the tapes on the cassette player through the headphones. It’s rubbish

I have a new pc and didn't get a sound card for my 5.1 so I got this however the drivers are only on a disk which I don't have a cd drive as most pc's don't now and can't find any help online for manufacture so only have 2 speakers working waste of time this has been.

I think it should have been made clear that the player did not have an external speaker and will not play tapes other than with headphones. The one my wife has will do so.

I bought this because I was having problems with the on-board sound card in PC, I kept loosing sound despite having the latest drivers and thought I give Easy-Link USB audio adaptor a try. It took less than 10 minutes to install the software and set up the device. The sound quality is excellent, the box itself is very small and takes up very little room. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for an alternative sound card, great value for the money paid.

The product arrived very quickly: thank you. It is a natty little machine, but appears to very flimsy, notably around the battery compartment area, the cover of which is wafer thin.Recording to MP3 works very well via the supplied AUDIBLE software. But the raw playback of cassettes via the earphone suggests something to be slightly wrong with the speaker's gonads.......either that, or the machines I have been using up to now have been playing too slowly. I'm sure I'll get used to it, and one can always slightly slow down a file's playback via software--but it does sound just a bit too fast.

Unit has a fault .Have been refunded for it

Mein größter Technik-Reinfall seit langem:- Stromversorgung per USB reicht nicht aus wie beschrieben man braucht zusätzliche Batterien- Strom Extern ist möglich, es liegt jedoch kein Netzteil bei- Die "mitgelieferte professionelle Audio-Editing-Software" ist ein Witz! Einfach OpenSource Audacity aus dem Netz kopiert. Eine Software die sich automatisch mit Start-Stop des Players synchronisiert wie man es erwarten würde gibt es nicht. Aufnahmen muss man komplett manuell und betreut anfertigen.- Der zusätzliche Lautstärkeregler am Gerät ist eher hinderlich, denn er steuert auch nicht nur den Kopfhörerausgang sondern auch die USB Lautstärke. Ohne Raster konstistente Aufnahmepegel hinzubekommen fast unmöglich.Das alles sei mal geschenkt.Bei dem Preis habe ich nur China Qualität erwartet, aber wenigstens dass sie funktioniert.Tut sie aber nicht.Die Audioqualität kann man leider nur als üblen Scherz bezeichen.Der Tonkopf ist so schlecht, ich habe auf jeder Aufnahme übersteuertes Knacken und ein Grundbrummen mit abnorm hohen Pegel. Die Kassetten sind zwar nicht die neuesten, aber ich habe hier als Gegenvergleich einen superbilligen Kinder-Kassettenspieler. Wiedergabequalität mit dem Billig-Kinderspielzeug ist noch 1-A.Ich habe noch den Hinweis des Verkäufers gelesen:"Übertragen Sie Ihre Kassetten in einem ruhigen Raum auf MP3. Bitte halten Sie Abstand zu Modem, Router und anderen drahtlosen Signalquellen."Ja Lustig. Was glauben Sie wo mein PC steht? Soll ich mir ein 10m USB Kabel kaufen und in die Küche gehen?Und dann renne ich bei jeder Aufnahme schnell hin und her um beides Anzuschalten - aber möglichst leise?!Wenn der Kram nicht mal einen mindestschutz gegen EM-Strahlung hat dann wundert mich garnichts.Schade um die Rohstoffe, die in die Produktion von so einem Schrott geflossen sind.Ein Stern ist noch zu viel.
