The mattress hasn’t arrived yet (needed to get a folding L shaped one) so will have to update about that once it comes. Review: Great product, sturdy, came in 2 boxes one arrived 5 days after the first one. No one has slept in it yet. It took us 2.5 hours to assemble, carefully read the instructions, grab the items from the top of each section/step so you don’t get confused. A lot of reviews say it takes forever, but it actually was not bad at all. Having a carpet under it is an issue unless is all the way under. Though of changing the hardware, but is perfectly fine, does not look cheap. One last thing, the outlet doesn’t allow you to push the bed all the way to the wall, so consider buying a flat extension cord. It is so nice to have an option for guest to stay with us without needing a full time bedroom set up. The look of it closed up is not an eye sore and matches our other furniture nicely. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because the set up did take a lot longer than we anticipated, the instructions were clear and easy to follow but lengthy. I think we ended up spending almost 6 hours building it.
