Kanna Powder - Sceletium Tortuosum, Kanna Supplement, Kanna Extract Powder - for Well-Being, Vegan & Gluten Free - 30 Grams

I have not tried Kanna herb before, so I was excited to see a small bag of fine Kanna powder, although this small bag does seem to be a lot of servings. The smell is striking and I quite like it. It seems fresh to my newbie senses. I am starting very small with this herb and beginning to experiment, but it was not unpleasant to consume.I like that they list the herb's scientific name (a basic thing but some companies somehow skip this step), and do not like that they list an expiration date -- would prefer to know when it was produced/packaged. The serving size recommendations on the back do seem aligned with the research I have done for how to use this plant.

This doesn't taste bad at all, but if you don't like the taste you could put it in small capsules or mix it in something like juice or a smoothie.This small pouch doesn't seem like a large amount but it goes quite a ways considering how small the average dose is, so it's a decent value when you factor in the cost and dosage.For me it works a lot like caffeine does but seems to hang on longer.This could be quite useful for someone with seasonal depression, or winter blues, it's a great pick me up..

Good amount of Kanna for the price. Seems to be off good quality. Kanna is used to boost serotonin. So it can help boost mood, help with stress and can also help improve focus and clarity. You definitely want to watch the dosage when you start to take it. Then you can increase as needed. Although this seems like a small bag, using as intended, the 30 grams can be 300-600 servings. Because of the small amount needed, I weigh it out and put it in capsules to ensure it's not wasted or stuck at the bottom of a cup, instead of in my system.

I've heard some good things about Kanna and wanted to try it. It's said to be relaxing, anti anxiety and to promote well being with mental focus. This looked like a high quality product with purity in mind.Amazing Biotonical's Kanna Powder is a concentrated extract. It completely dissolves in water, tea or any liquid. I just desolved it in cold water.The instructions say to try a quarter teaspoon first. I think that was a pretty low amount and didn't really notice any effects at that dose.I then tried a whole teaspoon dissolved in water. I noticed a relaxed feeling of calm focus and it was a very pleasant experience.It affects many people differently, some people may experience more of an effect than others.I liked the experience. If you're looking to experiment with Kanna, I think this is a very safe and effective product.This Kanna actually tastes good, about like tea but very mild. Almost any drink like tea, coffee, lemonade or other flavored drink will completely overwhelm the taste of the extract.If you want more mental clarity with out any jitters, I would give this Kanna Powder a try.

This is nicely ground kanna powder. It is easy to mix into any liquid and drink down. By itself it is quite bitter but since a serving is such a small amount it is easy to hide in juice. Or it could be put into capsules if you prefer. It states to start small at just 1/4 teaspoon per day and work your way up without exceeding 1 teaspoon in 24 hours. I notice mood boosting effects at 1/2 a teaspoon but keep in mind I am very petite and what is good for me will be different for you. It seems fresh and doesn’t expire for almost two years. Keep in mind this is for adult use only.

This is the first time I have ever tried Kanna extract and it does seem to help reduce my anxiety and help with relaxation. The recommended starting dose is 1/4 of a teaspoon but I found a full teaspoon worked better for me. The powder smells very “earthy” and a bit pungent. The taste is something akin to cloves and cinnamon mixed together. I mixed this powder with stevia sweetened lemon juice and it went down pretty easy. The anxiolytic effects are subtle but noticeable. There were no noticeable side effects either so that’s a big plus. I am glad I found this extract and will be buying more!

I tried this product the day I received it. The product comes in a sealed pouch and is a brown, earthy smelling powder that you weigh or measure out by volume and can either put it in capsules, blend it into smoothies, make tea out of it, or swallow the dry powder with a swig of liquid. I opted for the last option, quickly weighing the recommended starting dose and tipping the powder I had weighed out into my mouth, and swallowed. The taste is somewhat bitter, and a bit muddy....it tastes similar to a few crude plant extracts i have tried, and is far from the worst....the taste was very manageable and washed down with just a swig of soda. After about 40 minutes of waiting, i finally felt some mild effects including a little facial flushing, increased heart rate, a slightly elevated mood, and a desire to busy myself. I would say at the dose I tried, the effects weren't much different than a similar low dose of caffeine. I decided to double the amount I had taken the first time for a second dose and after another period of waiting felt a boost to the effect of the initial dose. I have tried other Kanna products from amazon, and they typically have the concentration listed in terms of total Mesembrine content, this product did not give any guidance as to exact Mesembrine concentration or even extract strength, which i would have appreciated. As far as relative potency to other Kanna products I have tried on Amazon, this one is one of the weaker formulations....which may be desired depending on your circumstances. I would probably give the product 3.5 or 3.75 stars out of 5 if I could.

great quality, I also have their $300-$600 south african kanna in a small 10g size and love it, this one is mostly for drinks I think you can also use it sublingual which is how I take the other one.....it has a bitter taste but its good in juice and very relaxing.....
